This vid is very helpful. With the cerave vit c in the tube, Don’t fold the tube it’s made out of thin metal and will cause the tube to rip and the whole thing oxidizes

I have been using Avon Anew Radiance Vitamin C serum for years. It works really good. $20ish per bottle

My favorite is the Paula's Choice RESIST Super Antioxidant Serum! It has vitamin C and E 😊

I loved the La Roche Posay 10% C, my completion looked 5X better… but it does go bad quickly bc of dropper. So, I’m doing the CeraVe one and that is ok.

I have watched many Vit C videos. I have learned more from this one than the rest of them combined.

Paula's Choice Ultra Light Super Concentrate Antioxidant Serum also has the THC form of Vit C in it. They don't tell you the percentage but it also has other antioxidants as well.

How do you apply it? It's very liquidity, and it smells like hot dog water. I tried it 3-4 years ago, not sure if they have changed the formula.

I see a lot of comments about Drunk Elephant .. have you tried that one Dr? And my all time favorite Aveene product is the Circalfate .. if I feel really dry I put that on and it it amazing !

It reminds me of the smell of a bonfire or fall cooking. I have incredibly fair skin, and I’m 52. There aren’t any age spots on my face, and I think this product is why. Let me know what you think.

I use the Drunk Elephant and PTR. I have the 10% cream in PTR, but I have purchased the 20% before, and it’s definitely for you hardcore types. I use tretinoin, so I like to stay in the 10-15% range. There’s definitely a huge difference between the cheaper brands and the more expensive brands, but I purchase Drunk Elephant because I have a bad habit of not screwing the dropper back on the dropper type bottles. It’s definitely more cost effective for me long term…because it’s not sitting open and oxidizing while I’m at work. It’s also drop proof, too.

I've tried most of these. LRP, RoC, Tula, Drunk Elephant didn't do anything for me, I did like the Loreal one, but it did oxidize before I finished it, CeraVe was okay, it also oxidized and it used to be $14 a few years ago, $39 is insane, my absolute favorite is the Olay peptide 24, whatever is in it, does wonders for me, the formulation is great, last longer and it doesn't oxidize, very affordable too. Im definitely giving Peter Thomas Roth a try! GREAT VIDEO!

I’ve been using Drunk Elephant Vitamin C for years and I love it! The way to get around the high cost is to buy the travel sizes. I’m 59 and my skin looks better then when I was in my 40’s. Even my aesthetician agrees! 🙂

There’s been complaints of skin burning n more irritation with that one recently. So have you noticed anything I know you like it. Has the formula changed? People said it’s always orange oxidizing quick. I want try mini size too but have dry skin

@@saniaz680 I have not noticed any difference at all. No changes on how it is on my skin or how long it lasts. I use it every day so I don’t think it has time to oxidize. Sometimes my daughter and I share a big bottle. After mixing it up, the serum is almost completely clear. I found an old travel size bottle that was almost empty (forgotten about). The vitamin c was dark orange but it was very old.

Great video, so informative and thoughtful.

Dr. Brenner's Vitamin C checks off all the boxes and is $20. It does come in a dropper. I store it in the fridge and it does not oxidize (turn orange). The serum is always clear. I've been using this for a couple years and highly recommend it. They have the same ingredients as SkinCeuticals, but with 20% pure L-Ascorbic acid.

This video was helpful. One brand is Biossance, thd. My only problem is scent, rose. Little pricey but my skin tolerated it, which ascorbic acid I don’t think it would.Also, I like cruelty free products. I haven’t googled a dupe for it still have lot left. I will watch more of your videos.

I have been using cerave vitamin C but I have noticed that the price went up. I use to payed 19 dollars at Walmart, now it’s between 26-35 dollars that crazy. But I still love it 🤷🏻‍♀️

I stopped buying Cerave for that same reason. I truly think they are price gouging due to their popularity acquired from the skin care influencers. I think their products are good but not great and I feel they are taking advantage of the current situation.
