I have an obviously dumb theory. The seven singularities are like the dragon balls. Bring them together in one place. Then the big meat snake that they were giving the golden corral treatmeant comes out and grants a wish. The cultists want to use this wish to bring the prince and the kingdom to earth

I think the reason I love this series so much is how it embraces the idea of humans not being the apex predator, as we are. It’s sort of a “scientific” take on that idea, in my mind, bc it uses a whole ecosystem to describe these creatures rather than just some alien that popped up out of nowhere. It feels like something that can actually happen and the concept of human beings not being on top is often one that’s scary. We don’t think like prey animals, but the mimics would force us to. This is a ramble, but I just think that concept is super neat and they tackled it pretty well.

The prince might be the giant meatsnake. It was in an underground railway (like the cave in the story). Had been in the tunnel for quite some time (possibly since before the war, and before the vita carnis showed up) Was fed using bodies from the war by the cult. Was found to be unmoving (like the healing sleep in the story). It then just straight up disappeared (like how the prince leaves to go back to his kingdom), which seems impossible given it was so engorged that it completely filled the tunnel. It isn't like other meatsnakes, being a different colouration and *much* tougher skin that can tolerate extreme heat, cold and radiation (good for surviving in space). Also, it has 7 skulls.

I have a theory that the ritual is to wake up the prince. Cultists are the critters that helped him Carcas are the one who opposed the idea. The book shows either how the story will go or is an old legend that cultist found out about and try to reenact it for some unknown reason. I know this might be a strech but I just needed to say this.

Nah, the ritual is to bring the Prince, his kingdom and the Critters to our world. The Vita Carnis are to ensure a lush world for the Critters, and a means of cleansing humanity from the Earth. The cult, wrongly, thinks that helping them will allow them to have a place in the nee kingdom.

The cult was force feeding the meat snake until it became an elder meat snake before it suddenly disappeared, and the two elders we know of, both the mimic and the meat snake, darken to black when consuming an excess of human flesh. Elder anatomy seems to be a different pathway from their normal development. Meat snakes split when a certain size and mimics begin to resemble humans. What if the singularities are formed from elder carnis?

One analog horror I recommend is the children under the house, not so much on the scary side, but it gets really deep

It’s sooo good just really disturbing but is so captivating because it’s pretty unique in terms of how it conveys it’s eldritch abominations through kids drawings (I’m a bitch when it comes to horror and had to take breaks while watching it and have cat videos in the background)

Regarding the "eyes" One of the operators says "Eyes are secured" before engagement of phase 2. That, and the fact that he used an eye as a tactical symbol for the place the ritual was taking place, closing before phase 2, it makes me think that "eyes" are a code name for the cultists or the signularities. With the VA credited I think it's more likely to be cultists. In both cases it would be fitting since, when the eye closes, I'm speculating that's when the ritual started and they were clear to move in.

My 2 theories: #1 Each Singularity is the origin point of each variant of Vita Carnis the Prince created to aid the Critters while he leaves for his Kingdom for assistance and working as the "main brains". Meaning that, should a Singularity somehow be destroyed, a variant of Carnis would perish with its destruction. #2 The Singularities are parts of a portal that would be used to bring the Prince and his people back to Earth immediately as apposed to a long travel back. We have no idea how long the prince's journey to get home, but we cam speculate decades. Being able to fast travel through the galaxy would certainly be better than wait more decades to go back to Earth. Some might say this theory makes no sense because that means the Prince could return whenever he chose to, but I believe the Trimmings are waiting by devices for a specific signal from their creator where they will ultimately "sound the alarm" to notify the cultists that they need to either open the portals or defend the singularities at all costs while they prepare to bring the Prince back. Those are two I'm going with, but i could be wrong. What do think, guys?

I find it amusing that everyone thinks this all started on Earth. Ever think this is an invasion from the outside? It is strongly hinted at that the Prince's world is dying off, and our world isn't. It could be that display of magic created a breach into our world, a 'new land' for the Kingdom to spread to.

I do want to say facility-0 may be my favorite episode. Im a fan of scp, and them showing a special forces operation going on to actually fight back. Very few series show the "good" guys fighting back, and them showing that CARCAS fighting back, refusing to go down without a fight, I love it. Edit: I use "good" in quotations since I do not 100% know if they are truly the good guys. I would like to belive they are though, but just incase it comes out later that they are not.

Most KZreadrs I’ve watched discuss vita carnis take roughly 20 minutes with a beat by beat explain of the series (which isn’t particularly a bad thing for people new to the series, but I’ve heard it explained over 6 times now) so I appreciated the short to-the-point explanation the intro had before discussing the new content!

Could the recurring number 7 have anything to do with the Pleiades constellation aka The Seven Sisters? Given that nearly all groups of peoples throughout ancient history had their own mythology around them... In Greek mythology they were said to be the seven daughters of the great Titan, Atlas; In Norse mythology they were the seven hens of Freyja. Just a thought!

7 is Bungie's (The creators of Marathon, Halo and Destiny) favourite number. Bungie is in on it. Destiny 2's recent DLC, Lightfall also features a large orb with a triangular portal opened on it. Which is often shown as a Circle with a Triangle superimposed on it just like the Singularity.

Here’s my take: the critters represent Earth itself, or nature I guess, suffering because humanity is devastating the environment. And so the Prince is nature mustering up enough resources to receive aid from some sort of higher power, be it extraterrestrial, demonic, divine, supernatural, or natural balance (my favorite). For the natural balance theory, I am thinking that humanity has done so much bad, that the universe is basically going “nah bro” and is going to fix everything. The critters, Nature/the Earth, receive the blessing from whatever it was that granted it, in the form of Vita carnis. Vita carnis kills two birds with one stone: it benefits the environment with the crawl, meat snake, and trimmings and uses the mimic, harvester, host, and monoliths against humanity. The mimics and hosts actively hunt humans, the harvester isn’t picky but will still eat humans, and the monoliths seem to guard the island from humans. The 7 singularities, on their own, represent the Prince and his power/intervention. He also represents the Cult as they work to aid the Vita carnis and bring back the kingdom. They are the origin of the Vita carnis. When you bring the 7 singularities together on the island, they represent the Kingdom, and will then give the critters, Nature, the full extent of its power… doomsday to humanity, but healing to the critters. They will wipe out humanity and let nature thrive. From there, the Vita carnis will live until everything is back to how it was. Afterwards, the Vita carnis may continue to exist exclusively as the crawl, trimmings, and meat snakes, and maybe harvesters, without a need for hosts, monoliths, and mimics. The Cult had the 7 singularities on the island and were in the middle of a ritual. Perhaps _the_ ritual to bring the “Kingdom” to the island (and thus the world). Because of how close they are, the cultists were very defensive and fought back against the CARCUS operatives/agents who came to stop the Cult. The operatives then had to open fire after the cultists resisted. Either that, or the cultists refused to stop the ritual and had to open fire despite them not being hostile. I believe Vincent was a mere scientist/researching working with the Cult, wanting to learn more about the thing that got his father, but he soon learned of what the Vita carnis really is and who his employers are. So he wants to stop them, but he needs proof. That’s how he knows so much and has so much confidential information and evidence that would ordinarily be under extreme protection and surveillance given the severity of them. Vincent obtained the information while he was working under the Cult and then ran away with it, analyzing it all, deciphering plans, and waiting for any organization with enough power to come along for him to assist in defeating the Cult. Then, Vincent and a few comrades went out to study the Monoliths, using the guise of “filming a documentary” to do so. The Cult caught them, knowing Vincent’s face. Not wanting to raise suspicion in the public, the Cult framed Vincent and his comrades as a college students working on a documentary and had sensitive information warranting his arrest. They used Vincent’s own cover story as their cover story, which is genius because there wouldn’t be any conflicting information from third parties such as friends and family. Vincent and his posse feigned ignorance, either to piss off the Cult, get a lesser sentence, or both.

The number 7 is considered God's number in Abrahamic religions, and the number 7 appears many times in the Book of Revelation, from the messages delivered to the Seven Churches of Asia, the scroll with seven seals presented to the lamb with seven horns and seven eyes, the seventh seal of which ushers in the sounding of the Seven Trumpets, the seventh of which brought down seven Spiritual Figures, two of which are stated to have seven heads, after which seven great plagues are unleashed upon the world, and so on, and so forth. Perhaps the series as a whole is some sort of allegory for the Biblical apocalypse?

Here's my take, seven singularities one singularity for each type of carnis that acts like a queen ant to that specific carnis. Also note that the singularities are arranged like that of the carnis circle we see in the documentary.

All I know it that this is an alternate universe where mystery creatures appeared on earth and some of them are very hostile while others are neutral or even possible pets like the Trimmings, or the Meat snakes for there waist disposal capacities.

Maybe the Critters that helped the prince were indigenous people or populations that lived in Canada before colonization. The lack of food could be a reference to how white colonies would kill off animals like the bison that native people would rely on for food. It could explain how the cult is seemingly human and why not America seems to be the place of origin so to speak. It works with the environment aspect as well since Indegenouse people were tied to the land.

Well, since firearms are basically illegal in canada, that might explain the spread of these "meat puppets". We wouldn't have em in the Southern U.S. We are allowed to keep and bear.

Everyone here is suffering from what I call 'human importance complex.' It is simply a case where the character assumes one of two things: something happened to everyone else or something happened to Earth. Basically, they never wonder if the Event only happened to them. In this case, everyone is assuming the Prince and the Critters are on Earth. Sadly, the pages DO NOT support this. Their world was dying, to the point that the Critters had to scavenge for food. It was also implied they were closer to the Dark Ages than the modern one. Our world is far from that, and I highly doubt they wouldn't see a plane or boat. No, I believe the Prince's display of magic ripped a hole between worlds and the VC Earth is currently undergoing a magical invasion by the Prince's Kingdom. The cult is assisting because they believe they can secure a new place in the upcoming new world order.

There's 6 spheres in site-0. What if the 7th entity, the singularity / big sphere, fits in the center of the ring made by the spheres. It would make sense as the singularity has magnetic properties, so it could cause some catastrophic effect if that was done.

12:09 Why the music is so good though

after watching some of this stuff (although not enough to be the #1 reliable source) I have some ideas for potential connections/theories. first up i think that the kingdom in the story book probably isn't extraterrestrial, with the land the prince discovered being the island in the Hudson bay. I believe that because to me i think there is some kind of connection to the way the harvesters are converging on the island and how the prince said "they" would return the critters are DEFINETLY (at least to me) the humans. ~1930 is when the carnis shows up, and also its the great depression (hence the "hard times" they are going through). the critters who don't stick by the prince are the majority of the population, while those who stick with the prince and nurse him back to health represent the cult. I also think the tendency of the crawl to benefit the ecosystem around it is connected to the critters' want for help with their hunger and whatnot, with the crawl being his way of doing that. Also, from what I've seen there are several easter eggs and such that draw connections between the carnis and radio signals and stuff, namely (going off memory) a newspaper clipping about a mass infestation of trimmings being found under a satellite dish, trimmings liking listening to the radio (in the trimming care guide), crawl taking over a radio tower, and most importantly how the singularities emitted/interfered with radio signals and stuff around them. I'm not entirely sure what it means but it sure is made out to be important

in nature, everything if grown uninterrupted will grow in a 5:7 orientation, for us humans to advance, we need at least 5 people in a family, vita carnis seems to need 7

One thing i noticed is that everyone talks about 7 singularities n all that, and while yes there are seven with the cult, Carcas states to have several in possesion aswell so we don't know the total amount of singularities, mather of fact its seems there are notable more then there are monoliths and such, which seems to go against the "left to right, the more rare they are" that we seem to have gotten from the species documentary

CARCAS is an interesting wild card here. Although most evidence points to them being a private organization, they have at least some military capability, with trained soldiers and night vision equipment. How they were able to get past the Canadian exclusion zone and enter the abandoned mall is also unclear, as well as what happened with the shooting at the end of the facility 0 episode (were they able to kill all the cultists, or were they fought off, etc.) Given their capabilities it's possible that they're a front organization for a foreign government, or part of the Canadian government that isn't compromised, or something else similar. Finally it's quite surprising that the soldiers weren't caught in a harvester trap given the density of harvesters there, and that the monoliths didn't detect and kill them.

not long after you mentioned the singularities possibly havies ties to each of the 7 carnis variants, an idea came to me that might bring more evidence to that theory they stated that 4/7 singularities have been captured. there are 4 variants that seem more passive. Crawl, Trimmings, Meat Snakes, and Monoliths. the other 3, Mimics, Harvesters, and Hosts, seem to be a lot more hostile. could that maybe have something to do with your theory? maybe im just reading a little too deep into it but idk
