Virginia Polky discusses facing advanced lung cancer after refusing chemotherapy

Virginia Polkey came in to give her account of lung cancer, which was diagnosed in 2012. She discusses the diagnosis and surgery (including side effects), and her decision to decline / refuse chemotherapy based on personal reasons. Virginia talks about coping with depression alongside her cancer treatment cycle. She gives positive feedback about the care she received. Virginia mentions the importance of support through her faith and family. Clearly it is a major decision to decline chemotherapy and this is a complex decision best made with advice of family and the medical profession.
