VIRGIL HUNTER BRUTALLY HONEST SPENCE JR. VS. CRAWFORD BREAKDOWN; KEEPS IT 100 ON KEY FACTORS

Shawn Porter and Kell Brook, former welterweight champions who have both clashed with Spence and Crawford and two of the top trainers in the sport, Virgil Hunter and Stephen "Breadman" Edwards, will preview the upcoming undisputed welterweight championship showdown between WBC/WBA/IBF Welterweight Champion Errol Spence, Jr. and WBO Champion Terence Crawford during a virtual media roundtable before the long-awaited clash.

I find it so funny that people still saying all these things about Errol when in all actuality we don’t know which Errol will show up. Errol can box Crawford like he did Mikey or walk down Crawford like he did UGAS. We don’t really know
@brooklyn560

Crawford show a lot more wrinkles and elements when boxing from long and mid range. While we’ve seen EJ best and most destructive work on the inside. So it’s probably best for EJ to try and walk him down and do damage while Bud is still getting his timing down. Personally If I was Derrick my plan would be to jump on Crawford early then ease off and box behind the jab. If Bud starts slow and EJ jumps on him, Crawford will be looking to get his get back that’s when you stick the jab in his face and prevent Crawford from doing that. In the later rounds I’d tell EJ to turn it to 100 and go after him.

@@36983 Spence can box very well and being a good boxer is not dependent on your reach. Ive boxed on a amateur level and having good fundamentals with a good skillset plays a big role. Spence could easily stay on the outside and just outbox Crawford. Spence outboxed and stopped Algeri when Pacquiao couldn't and won every round boxing Mikey who was supposed to be the better boxer. You stop a counter puncher with faints and a double jab

And people underrated just how varied and talented that Errol is. People get so enamored with him just being a pressure fighter who seeks and destroy they miss the nuance. Even people like these pros who should know better. I respect Virgil. But he is talking about how that grinding style breaks down with time. So does the athletic and sharp style. Hell they all break down with time and punishment accumulated over a career. But neither of them are at that point yet. He starts out as orthodox, gets his reads, definitely gets touch some, and then he switches to southpaw and he may switch a few more times for the rest of the whole fight….maybe? That’s not my opinion. That’s a fact. His fights are free to watch. He literally does that exact same pattern in almost all of his fights. I dont think Spence has ever fought anyone with as long a reach or longer than him....hes also never fought a puncher or a switch hitter
Coach Bread had the 💎 y’all need to drop his part with his own title
Errol’s gonna win simple as that.
He admitted that Amir khan wasn’t in shape when he fought Crawford! 😂😂😂 Bud been gettting it easy bud whole career. July 29th is coming we going to see what Crawford is made of.
Damn I thought that was Freddie Gibbs with headset at first.
I noticed one of the trainers spoke about “sparring partners “ and Spence wins that because he Spars the Charlo twins or one of em 🤷🏾♂️ idk but moral of the story is Crawford ain’t sparring nobody close to the pressure of Spence and i don’t think there is no one similar except for Benavidez 💯
Vigil wearing a snack cap and bud training with snac so I take his take with a grain of salt
