He did. No one saw him beating Spence like that. That said, Errol should have been active - can't sit on the couch for nearly 16 months with only 2 fights in the last 3 years, in between 2 accidents and one eye surgery. It was bound to catch up with him. He lost because Terence was better, but the fight could have been closer had he not gone throw a lot of issues and inactivity since 2019.

I’m so glad Spence didn’t give one excuse. Almost every fighter slips in an excuse like “the weight cut was pretty difficult and I didn’t have my legs under me like I wanted too. And I was having a little trouble seeing out of my right eye….but no excuses, he was the better man tonight.” He took the loss like a man.

Crawford is my favorite active fighter, I was pretty confident he would win. Didn't expect it to be so one sided. With that being said, so much respect for Errol Spence Jr. Humble in victory and defeat. From a true boxing fan thank you both for that fight. 🙏🏻 for a speedy recovery for Spence. And congrats to Crawford.

Let me say, as someone who is on record that said Spence would beatdown or TKO Bud in 2023 and that Bud only had a punchers chance to win as I thought, Bud wasn't in his prime (16 - 19) , that was not only P4P#1 that was ATG, automatic HOF and GOAT debate of the likes of SRR, SRL and RJJ. Huge fan of both fighters but I've never witnessed how 1 great fighter can make another great figher look so ordinary. As good as they both are Bud put on such a masterclass was hard to watch Spence loose so bad (even as a big spence fan). Mad props to both fighters but Bud is just on another LEVEL, very smart, strong fighter. Don't think a rematch would be wise even at 154. Spence is still a great champ in my eyes and took defeat graciously afterwards. Big thank you to both warriors.

Congrats to Bud!! Great fight!! Gotta say i really like the fact that Errol didnt make any excuses weathered it all till the end. Very humble. Wish nothing but the best to him.

You look at Spence’s accomplishments on a high level and Crawford made it look like it was his first fight ever. Bud came out untouched. I knew the angles and Buds ability to punch with power from anywhere would be the difference.

Well you have Spence Jr. that party, drinks, and eat unhealthy vs. Crawford who trains constantly, doesn't drink, doesn't party, and eat healthy. Crawford haven't fought since April 2022.

So much class, I liked his humbleness he almost sounds like Manny P. being interviewed after winning a fight.

Beatings like this change fighters. I had Bud winning by knockout but I just didn't expect it to be the way it happened. If you remember Hopkins vs Trinidad... Trinidad was never the same after that

A couple of very class acts inside and outside the ring. Very impressive.

Hat's off to the both of them...They came,showed & some one had to conquer..I'm a Crawford fan, always was..bc of his integrity, humbleness & drive... I love Spence and I’ve been following him his whole career, I’ve never seen him like this. Crawford boxing instincts are fucking insane. His counterpunching gives me the same poetic vibes as mayweathers defense.

So happy for TC, his best performance and that was against his #1 public enemy, he’s one of a kind.

Errols answers were excellent. I am looking forward to seeing him fight again. This isn't the end at all. Definite respect to Bud, I've been hearing about him for a while but never tapped in, I'll be watching them both.

I was Team Terrence all day but i gained tremendous respect for Spence for how he handled himself especially after the loss.

I can tell bud was holding back a lil bit after he dropped him twice , it was almost like he felt sorry for beating him that bad but had to do what he had to do

I got that vibe from him to, it was like after he knew it wasn't any chance for Spence to come back, Bud looked liked he stop throwing a lot of punches that was open for him.

Unbelievable fight. Bud played with him really. Slow cooked him and took him out when he felt like it whilst being on his guard all night. Got hit with just one left hook and that wasn’t even clean just on the neck. MASTERCLASS

What a Master class performance by Terrance Crawford to shut everyone up. He said that he feels like he has to make a statement to show everybody he’s the best,and boy did we all see how great this guy really is.

For 6 years I was telling my homies that Bud was the superior boxer and would win handedly and I was consistently told I was crazy. However, even I didnt think he would dominate in this fashion. I love both fighters and hats off to both men for making the fight happen. T.C. is that guy.
