Both men are elite! But, I think there's another level of fighter. Elite with a sprinkle of some extra special, and that's Bud Crawford. I think he stops Spence between 7 and 10

Shawn was always class. No trash talk, no bashing other fighters always had respect. Clearly was well raised, well spoken and so he truly doesn't need boxing anymore, guy fought everyone and ducked no one. Respect brother, enjoy the retirement 👍

I truly believe Shawn Porter is the best commentator in all of sports. He is the smartest and has alot of passion when he's talking and he's very fair and honest. I think Shawn should put himself out there more because he is great at whatever he does. I appreciate the honesty Shawn continues to express when he's discussing a topic. One of the most respected fighters never ran never ducked came and showed out win or loose

“He’s better now than he was when he fought me”….Not too many people understand this. Errol has gotten better with each fight after his car accident. Based on how he looked with Ugas, can you imagine what he is going to be like come the 29th??

He only has one knockout on his record since 2017. (Yes the COVID shutdown took a toll on boxing). Bud has knocked out his Bud has knocked out his last eight opponents. One punch by Errol can change everything, but he went the distance with Port, Danny Garcia, and an undersized Mikey Garcia. Bud took Porter out.

@iaqh Never said you had to take my opinion. I have been watching boxing since I was young. I know what I'm looking at. I also know when I see someone sandbagging a fight. Plus, I follow the sport, and Al Haymon told Errol he had guys spooked because he was destroying guys. So he had to bring his fight level down for Shawn to get Danny Garcia in the ring. Because he needed those fights to become a pay per view star.

This fight is such a high level fight the winner will be the one who will rise to the occasion and show greatness when it matters most.All the greats in different sports have that single game or match that defines them and what makes them achieve immortality is seizing the moment when it matters most, both Errol and bud have that defining moment coming it’s just matter of who will take the moment and swing it in their favour great fight enjoy!

I like Porter. He's cool. Down to earth, honest. Never saw an over inflated ego but self confident throughout his career. The interview he had with Tank was brilliant. Liked him so much more after seeing that.

Porter flat out said Crawford was better than Spence just seconds after Bud stopped Shawn. That was a raw and real analysis, now 2 years later and Porter is kind of editing himself now that he's a retired analyst. I'll go with Porter's unedited initial response which was that Bud athletically out boxes and outpoints Spence.

My hat's off to shawn porter. Awesome dude.

I will always show my love and respect for Shawn Porter, He's a true warrior. Shawn fought the best of the best, He's a two times world champion. The one and only true gate keeper of the welterweight division, meaning you're nothing in the welterweight division until you fight Shawn Porter. That alone should let people know how much he's respected in the division. Shawn Porter was the type that will always come forward with full force, bobbing and weaving with punches coming from everywhere.🤣🤣 I don't think there's too many fighters who could weather the storm, I can honestly say Shawn Porter was a true champion. I'd like to say, thanks for entertaining us while putting his life at risk, He retired from boxing with his speech, his health and his mind in tact, farewell to a former two-time world champion, and also the one and only true gatekeeper of the welterweight division.

I like listening to Porter cause he talk some sense man and has some great insight about boxing, Keith Thurman another good one too, even though there a lot of good boxers, not many can put it into words like these guys.

This man absolutely CAN NOT do an interview regarding Errol Spence without trying to push the narrative that he won the fight. Bro, you lost. Eight rounds. And you got dropped. At some point, Porter is gonna have to accept that fact and move on. He didn’t “have his way” with Errol, because if he could “have his way” he would have won the fight. 8 rounds to 4 is a wide margin. Even without the knockdown, a margin that wide would mean the knockdown didn’t really matter and was just the icing on the cake.

That fight was razor close let’s be real it was not 8 to 4. The knockdown is what gave Spence the win. He just edged Shawn by a bit he did not thrash him like we expected. That fight was as close as it gets and after his glove touched the canvas he went HARDER!

Shawn Porter they said he were not the same after fighting Spence and I agree but not for the reasons they said. I believe you got better after your loss. In my experiences I’ve always capitalized and learned from my losses and Shawn is an intelligent well spoken man with an analytical mind. He’s no body’s dummy! He learned from his fight with Errol and came at Bud with his same style but styles make fights and Bud made more adjustments than Shawn and that’s all.

Adjustments don't equate to how much punishment you can take anymore, Errol broke Shawns body, he can no longer take a punch, its very common once a fight gets rocked or knocked out even if they had the deadliest chin before, they can no longer withstand the same punishment and start to get knocked out much more easily afterward.

I felt like porter was winning the Crawford fight till the knock down/stoppage rd……….. vs Spence I felt like Spence fought towards porter strengths to show he was better and could beat him at his own style of fighting, and although porter did some good things I never had him up on the cards

Because IMO Errol fought Porter's fight and got the knockdown/decision. Porter's body (I'm assuming) never was the same. It probably was his gut feeling that a rematch would be detrimental IMO
