Vintage cine footage of the Ideal Homes Exhibition held in Kursaal Southend shot in 1949.
Many vintage radios , TVs, cookers and vacuum cleaners are on sale including Philco, Ekco Ultra Radio and Hoover.
The show was attended by well known BBC celebrities of the era Sylvia Peters, McDonald Hobley and Joan Gilbert.
The movie also shows the Cinelux shop window in Leigh-on-sea with the Hoover and Ambassador Radio displays and views of London Road with very little traffic.
