TASTY TOMATO SOUP CAKE
Preheat oven to 350° F
Grease and flour two 8-inch cake pans
Cake ingredients:
1 3/4 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
1 10.5-ounce can condensed tomato soup
2 eggs
Bake cake 30-35 minutes (conventional oven) or 15-20 minutes (convection oven)
Cream Cheese Frosting:
1 8-ounce package cream cheese softened
2 tablespoons milk
3 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
