    With lobsters, you can, with a very sharp chef's knife, split its head in one blow: it shuts down the nervous system all at once, and lobster won't even know what happened. I thought he would do it to the isopod too, but noooo, he had to go all Saw-franchise with it 😢

    He is too gentle to be caught and killed for such a small amount of meat. When cooked with rice, eggs, and a variety of spices, one might not even know what kind of meat it is. The pleasure of gastronomy can sometimes be cruel.

    idk how many times i have to say already but a lot of people are quite uninformed about the preparation of crustacean for human consumption works, i believe theres a specific bacteria that infects the meat of crustacean once they have been killed so cooking it alive decrease the risk and is the safest options for human consumption

    この生物は「ダイオウグソクムシ」と呼ばれていて「カニとロブスターを足した味」と評されている なお、同様に足が大量にある古代生物とされる「カブトガニ」は食べられる部分がほぼなく、あったとしても大部分が胴体または卵のみであり、その卵や胴体に大量の毒が富有されている為絶対に食べないようにしましょう。 高い確率で痺れを引き起こし、最悪死に至る危険な毒物である。

    It's definitely not a lobster.....a very distant relative to the lobster, a crustacean. It looks like a sea louse, commonly found at gill area of certain fish except this one is huge. The fried rice with this "lobster" must taste really alien.... 😋😋

    @@SHU4032 바티노무스 기간테우스라는 종으로 갯강구는 갯강구과이고 이건 모래무지벌레과입니다. 심해 거대증으로 인한 저 크기는 쥐며느리와 갯강구가 거대화 되었다고 생각하는 분들이 많습니다.

    基本的にエビカニ的な味と食感だと思いますが、蒸されて身をほぐされて炒められては、何だかわからない「エビカニ的」なモノという味わいなんでしょうね。 日本の伊勢海老のように刺身で食べられれば、また何らかの美味しさも有るのかもしれませんね。😅

    デカくなったダンゴムシやないかい!! と思っけども ハサミで割る時に申し訳ない気持ちになったことによって思い出した事が一つ カナダの時にロブスターを毎日半割りするバイトしてたが、 今の心情と比べると当時無の境地で半割りしてたなぁも思い出した

    Not an alien or a lobster. Giant isopods, wouldn't have thought they were good eaten. I stick to king and snow crabs when I can treat myself

    @@nadaproblem3023 Asia has a population problem so conventional food is a scarce commodity. I think their habit of consuming unassuming creatures stemmed from the days of famine and world war where they had to give up being picky and source whatever that was available.
