I love how respectful and nice the contestants were after Nick won the Auction. I bet in most auctions in the world that would've been different.

Yeah, I attended a classic car auction with a friend once and when he won the car...some boomer followed us to the Parking lot to curse us out later. Thankfully, most auctions are actually very peaceful and respectful, but some ppl get too attached to what they bid on, it is what it is.

The Japanese are all about honor and respect. They take losing in stride. As long as you play fair, your opponent will respect you and never be a sore loser. To my understanding, a lot of the Japanese citizens disliked Hirohito.
@CrankyConniver
23 күн бұрын
@@nahor88 This is an absolutely wild and uninformed comment. The Japanese loved Hirohito as they believed him to be a figure close to their God. Also, Hirohito didn't really have a major decision making role in the war and was mostly controlled by the general Hideki Tojo. And that whole thing about Japanese culture and "taking losing in stride" really makes me think your knowledge about Japan comes from anime and a propaganda poster.

But it was definitely nice to see the real process. That was the first video for me, start to finish.
