The story of Versace - Versace is a luxury fashion brand known for its bright colors, revealing clothing, and the famous Medusa logo. Today, the company is worth well over $2 billion dollars, and yet it was all started by a kid who came from an extremely poor small town. (In 2018, Capri Holdings bought the Versace brand for $2.12 billion dollars.) Versace’s rise to the top in the world of luxury fashion is incredible - however this is not just a business success story. In this business mini movie about Versace's history, we'll look at how Versace began, how the company grew and Versace became a millionaire, and how it all ended so tragically for Gianni Versace.

He was also the one to celebrate the beauty in women and their bodies .. and even promoted non-white models like Naomi Campbell and Yasmin Ghauri (which back in the day was not common) I remember Naomi was so grief stricken, she just could not stop crying on hearing about Gianni’s death ! She said herself, that he was one of the first to give her a big break in the industry!

I'm not a big fan of the outfits, but his creativity is insane! Much respect to Gianni. When I finally bought my first perfume bottle, it smelled sooo lovely! RIP G. Versace 🙏 🙏 🌹 🌹 Thanks for all that you did for women!

Bro, its a real story not a fictional one. You can't blame him.
You missed a very important detail. Many of Don Johnson's costumes for Miami Vice, were designed by Gianni Versace. Many of the guests also wore Versace.
Gianni was and still is my favorite designer. Versace was so big in the 90's and 2000's. So much that he started to make clothes for bigger people because Notorious B.I.G rapped about it so much and we all wore it. Until this day they still have the Biggie Sunglasses. Gianni was precious. A true innovator. Donatella did great by her brother. I still have my Gianni Versace pieces.
I remember when the kunanan thing happened live. The office I worked for had an 800 # which almost matched the FBI hotline when they requested tips from the public. The FBI # was 888 # not 800 #. We took so many crazy calls with only 10 employees. The FBI ended up paying the phone bill.

Versace’s one of my favorite fashion brands. My first (and to date only) high fashion brand purchase was Versace - a pair of purple sunglasses which I still have today. Gianni Versace’s passing is super heartbreaking. You can only imagine how innovative his future designs would’ve been. I’m glad Donatella and Santi Versace were able to keep it going. ❤
YOU'RE BACK WITH SOME VIDEOS! LET'S GOOOO!!
Another great story chief, what a craft this is mate.
John you are doing amazing work God bless you
I could not afford Versace but I was surely inspired. I always wanted to be a designer but was never supported. My life took many twists and turns. I became a mother at 17, but didn't let that deter me. I graduated Highschool and college and found meaningful work thereafter. I'll be 68 in July and still follow designers. I currently have that sense of style that makes me unique because of it. RIP Gianni. Btw, Andrew Conanhan also killed Lee Miglin who was married to Marilyn Miglin who I knew from the days of working on Michigan Avenue in Chicago.😢
Amazing storytelling! How do u even script this? Genius!
I was thinking for a second that I'll never be able to buy something from Versace then I remembered I have a Versace perfume! 😆 And it's my favourite perfume too! Versace Bright Crystal.
Love your vids… keep it up, good work.

This was a great informative video. I got soo caught in the story, I was rooting for them NOT to sell any parts of Versace. That man started an amazing brand through hard work and dedication and it paid off.

it is still my favorite clothing brand, even though I don't afford it😅i am glad to hear that the family sold the company rights and everything willingly so, unlike what happened with Loui Vuitton brand. someone took it away from the family while they were not aware, yes it's still a big name even today but they were not willing to let it go, their mistake was to hire a thief who took advantage of the family crisis and sold the company to himself on their behalf.
Keep up with the good work

I’d have to say Versace actually has nice clothing compared to these other fashion houses that have been pushing odd looking outfits. Balenciaga show was trash and Gucci been having some odd design’s lately.
So proud i was able to buy myself a Versace sunglass...his logo is very impressive.
Hi Can you do video on how you research, write scripts and storyboard, and combine everything to make this complete video. I would appreciate that

13:47 This is the real reason why they killed him, to take ownership of his work and company.. that guy that killed him was payed...and probably killed after ( not suicide) after he completed his mission. He was a payed killer after all.
