🎬 PLEASE NOTE: The movie clips & photos I’ve used to represent some of the characters are from the film ‘House of Gucci’.
There’s quite a few characters in the Gucci story as it spans a long time period, but basically you can think of it as a story of 4 generations:
1️⃣ The first is all about the very humble beginnings of Gucci
2️⃣ The second is about how the company expanded
3️⃣ The third generation is complete chaos
4️⃣ And then the fourth is life after the Gucci family lost control of their own company.
Welcome to another crazy business story - this is the dramatic origin story of one of the world's most luxurious and wealthy brands. Gucci is one of the hottest fashion brands in the world with an estimated value of $22.6 billion dollars. But, what begins as a rags-to-riches story of a small family business becomes a dark, shocking tale of betrayal. Underneath the glamour of the fashion world, there were frequent family feuds, lawsuits, an attempted corporate takeover, and even murder. So sit back, relax, get comfortable - because in this video, we’re going on a journey through Gucci’s insane and controversial history. This is the story of Gucci - including how Gucci started, the rise and expansion of the Gucci business, brand strategies and marketing / product changes, and the Gucci family's controversies along the way to success. I hope you enjoy this business documentary with a dark twist.
Honestly I never expected to be making business stories about fashion companies - I expected I’d mostly stick with tech businesses. But so many of these fashion brands have such wild stories that it seemed a shame not to share them here on KZread.
For those who want more on big tech, don’t worry there’ll be more of that to soon.

It's to project wealth and status. Normally, you have to talk to someone to know about their achievements but with expensive clothes or accessories you project wealth without even talking. Wealth means achievements, it makes you more desirable because you're exclusive.

I feel like a lot of the time with these family businesses they start of with humble businessmen who just want to make an honest living, who didn't grow up with too much or into too wealthy of a family at the time. Then after said brand blows up in popularity and value due to the ACTUAL LABOR and HARD WORK of the generation before them, the generation that follows in said family don't have to do ANY work, they just fight over the table scraps of the capital left behind from someone who was actually willing to put in the work. It's frankly disgusting.

Excellent content, bro make a documentary on Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari from Pakistan, their money laundering will make Jho Low look like a mediocre money launderer. They both ruled our country for decades and built such empires and shell companies abroad. And also army establishment generals are fully involved in it, this will be huge if you can cover all this stuff. You can find a lot of content about our establishment and both of these corrupt families in international journals and media.

I get the idea that Paolo came back from the dead and is designing for Gucci right now. That would explain the hideous stuff the do sometimes.

Oh I like that Patricia woman! She's a go getter, she gets what she wants no matter what, totally cold and uncompromising. I would never marry a woman like that but she's a very interesting character
