The whole point of wealth for me is freedom. My magic number in mind is $5million needed at 65 to not worry about anything. Am i better off investing a good portion of my income into stocks or saving my earnings to achieve this goal? Here for ideas please

Money advice is subjective, what works for you may not work for someone else, but it's always better to plan. I got laid-off work at 46, amid covid-outbreak, and at once I consulted an advsor to handle growing my finance. As of today, I'm only 18% short of my $3m goal after subsequent investmnts.

Just buy low sell high. Stick with a good company by either not selling when it’s going lower and/or buying more at that time. Almost always the good well managed companies will come back strong at some point. The other is to get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.

Well, I recommend you make a diversification plan because it's been harder to build a good financial portfolio since COVID. My colleague suggested I hire an advisor. I did and I've actually made over $926K with my advisor's help during this market crash. She uses defensive strategies to protect my portfolio and make profits despite the ups and downs.

The last minute sums up exactly what I was thinking the whole time. Every time I lay my head on my pillow in my warm bed watching a KZread video, every time I turn on a faucet with clean drinkable water, every time it rains and the roof doesn’t leak. Every time I tell my still living parents I love them. Every time I listen to the quiet night with no gunshots or exploding bombs. I am richer than any billionaire, and more fortunate than most. EDIT: Let me clarify for all the people who are taking the tone of my comment to have a jealous sort of “haha just because you’re rich doesn’t mean crap” vibe. I am simply thankful for what I already have, and no amount of money can bring back your lost loved ones. I would probably remove the part of the last sentence about “I am richer than any billionaire…” I was actually thinking to myself that even I were to have millions in my bank account in the future, that I am actually wealthier in the present with my family around me than any financial wealth could bring me. And yes, there are many wealthy people who have both. But time comes for all of us so we should appreciate the moment instead of feeling empty for what we don’t have. That’s all.

There was a time when we " made it here", we had jobs for everyone and the products were of high quality, then the 1% wanted everything. Now Inflation drives prices up and if Inflation is high and jobs disappear by the millions we are in a recession and maybe headed for a Depression…So be careful with your money. It may take decades to get back on pay again. Luck to all.. I've seen folks make huge 7figure profit in a crashing market and pull it off much easily in a bull market Unequivocally the crash/recession is getting somebody somewhere rich...

Thank you for making me feel blessed. At this point (I am almost 52 years old), I am healthy, in early retirement, and with all my basic needs met daily. I may not be able to travel to different countries, own expensive things, or eat at fancy restaurants, but I don't really need those. What I have (peace of mind and a worry-free life) is something so many people probably just dream of. If I have at least a billion dollars, I would use those for the betterment of mankind and the environment.

It really surprised me how good it felt to give an extra tip to the owner of the hotel I stayed at in Ecuador. I realized I had more cash than I thought, and that it would benefit him more than me. He did such a great job organizing all my climbing expeditions, so after I give a big tip to my guide, I tipped the owner as well.

That is so true, use money to buy time and convenience. If a problem is fixable with money, it's not a problem. People with no money tend to spend so much time on small problems, and we ended up making our time less valuable. People with money buy off problems with money, therefore they have more time and their time will be more valuable. Lesson: Be wise and start looking afar and stop wasting time on small things.

What I like most about this video is the last part. Indeed, money is not all happiness. We can be happy despite not being wealthy. What's important is being grateful, having satisfaction and appreciation, being surrounded by loved ones and true friends, plus having good health. After all health is wealth. ❤

Money is good servant, when with money you can buy anything you want to get satisfied with, but if you as world richest person just chasing money and dont get satisfied with anything you will never get happy then, so with the money you have you should enjoy what you can get, when nice fast car is somewhat enjoyment, but its just short term enjoyment and you not going to always enjoy it.

One of the few videos in a long time where I watched start to finish without feeling bored or feel like skipping any parts for a second.

What a wonderful video… very interesting to watch, but then the twist at the end to looking down the wealth pyramid was so insightful. I try to make myself do this as often as possible, basically any time I find myself wishing I had more, or wishing things were better… I try to remind myself to stop focusing on those with more, and to remember that there are so many people with less. Thankfulness is something that is so difficult to maintain. It’s so easy to always compare with others and try to “keep up with the Jones’s”, but I will always try my best to remember how much of a gift this life is.

Honestly a great video, i totally agree with all you say and my dad always thought me about the different levels of wealth, there's always someone bigger and theres always someone smaller.

Jobs will pay your bills business will make you rich but investment makes and you keep you wealthy the future is inevitable

The last minute of this video hit me hard. I clicked into it frustrated by the ultra-rich and i leave realising I'm better off than most human beings today despite having no money or assets. I feel that the ultimate purpose for all of them and us is to gain an ever-increasing amount of happiness. So, the question is, is the happiness proportional to the amount of wealth? If the answer is yes then I have seen many people who have just sufficient but they live a very blissful and contained life...Also, in countries like India, there have been Mystics who claimed to experience infinite happiness and tranquility with almost zero material possession, a few of them were Gautam Buddha, Mahavir, Ramkrishna Paramhans, Raman Maharishi. I feel that true happiness should calm you down forever, complete peace i.e. no urge to run further. I also feel that a good source of happiness should also bring peace with it. Higher the peace, better is the source since only peace can calm us down. Also, we should search for non-material and sustainable sources of happiness which require little or no money

Unless you've had the opportunity to experience the level of Wealth a Billionaire has, there's just no words that can describe it. As a Professional Chef I've worked for many millionaires, then I catered a Christmas party for the Managers of a company whos owner was worth about 2.5 Billion Dollars. Upon arriving at his estate we came up to a "Guard "Shack". This "shack was a 2,000 sqft house with guard dogs and heavily armed security. After letting us through we drove for about 10 minutes through some beautiful scenery, even passing a heliport, and I couldn't understand why I wasn't seeing any homes (until I later learned that this was all of his property). Upon arriving at the place the party was to be held, we came upon a really nice looking house that would sell in 2022 for about 500K - 750K in my area, but certainly not what I was expecting. What I came to learn was this was his "Game Room". His "Game Room" was over 3,000 sqft and had a Game area containing a bunch of video and Pinball machines, then I saw the beauty salon he got his hair cut, and finally an Olympic sized indoor swimming pool and this was not counting the sitting area with a fireplace seating about 30ppl, and this was just the inside. When looking into the "garage" that had 4 large sized doors on it, I saw it contained just about any outdoor vehicle you can imagine, and these were just his toys! I never did see his actual house and I can only imagine what it would be like. And finally, when talking to him, he was upset because his wife hated driving to the city to play golf,(20 min drive) so his next "project" was to put a full sized Golf Course on his property!! There are just no words to describe what being a Billionaire is like. I will say that having this amount of wealth one must now worry about Kidnappings and other security risks to their family. In other words, the Super wealthy may not have problems like the majority of us, their problems are just different, but no less a problem..

Great vid man. That last bit about how being a billionaire affects your relationships...still worth it to me. My family can live a good life, I can also help out my community a great deal, not to mention I can live out my wildest dreams

I agree, its not necessarily the money that will ruin your relationships, the reasons are more complex. And poor people suck at relationships too. That being said, I guess we are all talking about something none of us knows anything about. Let's become billionaires first, then we start talking about what it feels like.

t really is the end of the world it is since 2000 years when jesus first came now is just at its peak, for god 1 thousand years is a second and a second is 1 thousand years!
