Ok I disagree with these responses. I think they are over worked and not enough people They have too many cases per Person. They might start off caring but after a while it wears you down and you run out of love and empathy. I think it’s just how it is. It’s terrible and wrong. They have so many cases a day and not enough time to deal. Maybe if people stopped being terrible they wouldn’t have such a heavy load. I do think there’s more than what I’ve said. After watching the Gabriel trial Where cod failed him no matter how many people reported him. Ugh. So sadn

My Dad was on the jury for a really big case in UK a few years ago involving paedophilia and child murder. He wasn't allowed to talk about it at all and had to stay isolated in a hotel room the whole time that he wasn't required in court but due to it being national news my family and I figured out pretty quickly it was that particular case he was a juror on. Anyway the trial went on for 21 days and I can honestly say my dad has never been the same. He (and the other jurors) were offered counselling afterwards and he took it. But still, something died inside my dad over those 21 days. He's never spoke about the evidence he had to hear and he said afterwards that what was published in the press was only the basics of it but whatever it was he heard, it changed him, forever. People don't consider the jurors enough. As a citizen you get called to do your jury duty and it could be a one day trial about a driving offence or a month long one requiring you to hear things that change the fabric of your being forever.

@Alma Ramos I am not familiar with the legalities in the state where this tragedy occurred, but my Daughter and Son-in-law were foster parents for several years in Texas, so I am aware that here Child Welfare offices are grossly overworked and disturbingly understaffed!!! CPS workers are also forced by existing laws to return children to their parents, or hopefully other family as quickly as possible. Leaving a child in foster care is not as easy as it probably should be. You also have no idea of the pathetic shortage of willing foster parents, for all ages of children.

It was at that moment when his first guilty charge was read, she knew she was going to be found guilty too. That moment she released those fake tears. Tears not for the man beside her, tears not for her teenage son Daniel who has lost his whole world, and especially not for her poor baby boy Dylan who instead of being his one true protector, she was his evil murderer. She cries tears of sadness not for his death but for her own life that she no longer will have control of. That poor sweet little boy must have suffered pain from his injuries. But hopefully he is at peace now. And her teenage son, he will need a lifetime of comfort. Not only knowing what his parents did to his baby brother, but being part of the reason with his assistance in putting his parents in jail for life with his testimony and his braveness. He ensured his baby brother got justice but he will hold a life sentence himself for all that he has been through also at the expense of those who should have been his true protectors. Karma will come full circle for these evil beings. May Dylan forever sleep in peace and may Daniel find the guidance, strength, love, healing that he should have received throughout his life and deserves forever.

@@kianablossom7736 Wrap your head around this one: I'm pro-life but not anti-abortion. I absolutely think it needs to be kept legal, safe and well regulated. One need only understand that when something is made illegal an illicit black market will spring up and we'll see desperate, frightened and often abused or marginalized women/girls dying at the hands of back-alley butchers to realize it's best kept available if only in the most dire of circumstances. Can't tell you how many of my strictly pro-life friends minds I've changed by simply pointing that fact out.

PSA from a hospital worker who used to be in labor and delivery. You can drop off an infant at any hospital or fire station without question! Give it over to someone who cannot have children! You won't be in trouble!
