Thanks for sharing, a lot of people will buu the yellow springs and will regret it. The H&R springs handling, ride comfort and ride height look spot on.

Just a big thanks to this video, I recently bought a Renault Trafic with the yellow AMAX already fitted, the ride was nothing short of awful! I just couldn't relax driving the van as I was watching for every pothole. There is absolutely no travel in these yellow springs at all. They are cheap for a reason. After looking at several other brands, I watched this video and decided to go with the H&R blue ones and I can only say it has transformed the van! It is still firm, but not a bone-shaking bang like the others. 👍

Good review chief, thanks for posting it. Nearly bought some of the A Max springs for my Vivaro camper until I saw your review (I had doubts about them). Think I’m gonna follow your lead and get the H&R spring kit. They been OK after using it for a while? 👍

Reason they drop differently could be down to the weight of the van. Some have different load ratings. Agree with xr2i calibra etc. Love another calibra, but with my old cav gsi lump. 170mph in that lol

Same fitted amax 35mm lowering springs to my mk6 fiesta. I love the stiffer ride they give better than standard I'd not say its harsh at all.

X5 wheels oh dear. The plod are cracking down on non-commercial load grade wheels on vans. Your wheels need to be rated to take the maximum possible load the van could carry, much like Supercars that need tires rated for 250 mph etc, although the max spped one can do is 70mph. . If you have a bump an insurance assessor will immediately spot those wheels

Thank you for the input information . I thought stock ×5 wheels would be ok as long as iv got the right tires the wheels have been on my other van for the last 8 years on stock suspension iv told the insurance company what iv done. they put my premium up but seem to be ok about it they even asked for pictures of the van

@@MonaichFother As you mentioned, lots of people online saying that about BMW alloys on the Vivaro, seen lots of people talking about it. I’ve got the X5 alloys on mine too, GVW for the X5 and Vivaro are pretty much the same, about 2.8 ~ 2.9 metric tonnes. 👍

@@johnshomegarage7828 I think you might be ok as the X5 is rated to about 3000kg maximum weight and depending on your van load rating, 2700kg etc it will probably be the same or less than the X5
