  That clutch was bad but they judder when brand new so dont think it wont judder because it still will, i had a recon box with all new bearings only last 20-25k and i had a new luk clutch fitted at the same time but didnt bother with the clutch this time with only 20k on it, replaced the slave tho. All fun and games these vans

  Hi mate love the look I’ve amax on mine and it’s terrible I contacted h&r and they say there kits only have two front springs in a kit Would you have a part number for the spring set you ordered thanks really appreciate it H&R part number I have been given is 29334-2

  These gearboxes have been a problem since day 1 - I got told that to save money Renault used the Laguna 2.2 gearbox in the van when it was first built - but it was not really strong enough hence all the problems - from day 1 - BUT they did not redesign the gearbox or use a better / stronger one they just kept quiet about it and kept fitting them - and doing the bearings as warranty - My mate that worked at Vauxhall had 2 per week to do for years - It was ALL warranty work - it was cheaper to do the repairs until the van was out of warranty than to redesign the gearbox - but once the warranty is up it was the punters problem - shocking really !!

  Or just just remove gearbox and replace it for a second hand one for quarter of the price. These people charge £300/hour

  Just a big thanks to this video, I recently bought a Renault Trafic with the yellow AMAX already fitted, the ride was nothing short of awful! I just couldn't relax driving the van as I was watching for every pothole. There is absolutely no travel in these yellow springs at all. They are cheap for a reason. After looking at several other brands, I watched this video and decided to go with the H&R blue ones and I can only say it has transformed the van! It is still firm, but not a bone-shaking bang like the others. 👍

  Have a look under the valve buckets to see if the spring retainers have broken up. Common on the gen 2's. Ive got a spare head that's got half a dozen retainers broken up. Kawasaki fixed problem in 2008 with thicker one's.

  had my 2012 renault trafic for 5 years put 16" bmw alloys on last year got 17" bmw alloys with 225x50x17s ... was going to be day van now just drive it as a car living in north wales hard to find some one to fit solar panel or put in split charger .. put in the tinted side windows and got side bars and vinal wrap half the van faid to get any further but for 177.000 on clock drives really well

  Never imagined the gear selector look liked that ! Like some weird key you find on resident evil lol I have a J1H Z750 on 21k and you really have to make sure it's in 6th other wise it jumps out . I can see why now . Thanks for the videos!

  i have rims style 63 to x5 bmw on my trafic !! but i want lowered it, your have low spring or coilver ? because low spring is not confortable on mide....

  Reason they drop differently could be down to the weight of the van. Some have different load ratings. Agree with xr2i calibra etc. Love another calibra, but with my old cav gsi lump. 170mph in that lol

  Thanks for sharing, a lot of people will buu the yellow springs and will regret it. The H&R springs handling, ride comfort and ride height look spot on.

  Thanks for the video. Do you know if its possible to just use a fuse tap on the heated screen fuse instead? Its probably easier than soldering wires etc.

  Hi mate im having an issue with taking my downpipes off the bolt is bringing the stud out with it and feels like its stopping half way but it is still connected to the midpipe should i disconnect it from the mid pipe now in hopes its already to come off?

  Cheers for this. Think I might be doing this. It is annoying how our customs tell us everything from low washer fluid to a blown bulb, but in Fords wisdom they did not think to give us an indicator to say if and when the vans are doing a regen. Thinking if I do this I will be taking it to my auto electrician. I tlooks a easy mod, but thinking one of those jobs where you thin, WHY THE FUK DID I START THIS, FOOKING CLIPS!!!! fucken plastic trim, fuk it, argggggggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!! LOL
