You and Dave just made my day i tried to fit my heater under my seat in my traffic and came to the conclusion it couldn't be done but you did it. So I fitted mine in back two years ago. I have the fuel tank in back. I have wanted to fit to tank underneath but big job thought about fitting to fuel pipe I have just looked on eBay and that T is there at £6 so must be ok I will get one. So thanks.👍👍👍👏💯

Glad we could help Jess 🙂 yeh we had to trim some parts off the underneath the seat that aren't structural to get a clean fit and you have to take care to cut in the right place under your seat but it definitely can be done 🙂 good luck and thanks for leaving a comment 👍

@@BrendanExplores I added a gadget called a GSM Relay to mine so that I can turn it on via text message. So say I’m out and about on a cold day I can turn the heater on 15 mins before I get back to the van or on a cold morning before I set off out anywhere.

I hope there is a good thermostat on there. I have a 2kw heater in a Volkswagen Transporter. That is plenty hot enough for me. I am more inclined to sit in the van now knowing it is freezing outside and have a gin and tonic and ice. Enjoy your winter camps.

Top job that guys. On the 1.9 there a cable that runs down the inside of the side seal. Just make sure your diesel heater exhaust end, is clear of that. As mine tried to melt at first😅

With the seats flat I can lay fairly straight, I use the same type of mattress that matti uses, it could be better but could also be worse.

Yeah a diesel heater is a must i love mine. I only have the 2kw Diesel heater and heats thr van nicely so youre 5kw will be tropical 👍

Will your river pro run your diesel heater. I'm looking for a power bank. But don't think they're big enough to start heater. For the first 2 minutes of start up. It needs I think around 3000w

If it needs 3000W to power chap, you'd need a mahoosive battery. I think they're around 160W on initial start up if they're flat out. Then if its just ticking over It drops to around 60W (rough figures, but somewhere in that region)

What line on the filter did you connct the diesel line to?
