I like the look of this game, to me it gives equal amounts of Sludge Life and a Short Hike which are both games I love

If anyone could make me a favor, please go play A Short Hike if you haven't already, it's a beautiful gem of a game, that its so much fun to explore, with soothing music and a very touching ending. One of my favorite indies ever!

​@@Miss_Kisa94 I'm not promoting to shame on Valley Peaks, after watching this trailer I got reminded of the amazing fun times I had with A Short Hike and just wanted to give a shotout to It, for people who might not known that game. But Valley Peaks look great too, I'm all for more games about climbing and explore mountains like Celeste and A Highland Song too.

What a bold artstyle! The youtube compression doesn't do it justice at all.

This reminds me of the artstyle that A Short Hike had. I’m definitely getting this when it comes out.

@@Snoop_Dugg It is not! Valley Peaks is made by a small Scottish Dev team Tub Club and Published by Those Awesome Guys (thats us ;) )

I've played Little Gator Game and A Short Hike and I'm looking forward ro more games like them, so this is definitely on my radar

I kinda wish the distance mountains had texture instead of like a skybox reflection. It'd make the scenic view from the peak more beautiful. I could be wrong though.

I really hope we use the Joy Cons for this

Man, why couldn’t this game have been a shadow dropped release after the Direct? Because out of all the indies I saw, this is by far the one I’m most interested in. I love games that have fun traversal mechanics.

I don't really like the art style and color pallet of the game.. hopefully different textures/etc could be available in the future to make it crisper and less.. bad coloring book? the gameplay looks OK, but the colors seem just, dull and blurry and weirdly textured, almost gross
