@@SilverKiwi_YT wouldn't say so. Yoyo's remind me of terraria, so does the art style and some of the sound effects, especially the explosions, are very very reminiscent of terraria's sound design. But it for sure took some inspo from rain world als well

Immediate positive first impression just from the graphics alone.

I play tested this at PAX East, and I can’t wait for this game. So nice to see something fresh and exciting to play. You can see the effort that went into this game everywhere between audio, visuals, gameplay.. awesome. Can’t wait.

It’s so surreal to see a game that Dunkey is affiliated with show up on the official Nintendo channel

Finally the fans get their long-awaited sequel to Welltris

It's crazy how awesome this looks. Can't wait for release

Yeah, but it's clearly not the same gameplay. Animal Well is more "find all the secret that we hide in the game" + Metroidvania. You have to interact with the environnement. Something will act differently if you use this item or not.

I gotta say, I never would've looked into this game if dunkey hadnt been publishing it, but im so glad he is because it looks freaking awesome!

yeah a lot of games looking like they are colored in only highlight markers or crayons but this game looking more like good old dark mode.

Has to be an insane feeling growing up, loving Nintendo games to then develop/publish a game hosted on and advertised by their platform. Great job Shared Memory and BIGMODE, keep it up. Proud of you.

This looks fantastic for anyone that enjoys games like Fez or Tunic.

I think the Rainworld and Animal Well fandoms will get along

It’s weird that Dunkey fans have sort of retroactively become Animal Well fans but hopefully it means more people will try the game out!

A crime this didn't get an actual spotlight in the direct. One of the few interesting games

This is what indie games are about. I had this on my Steam Wishlist for quite some time already. Looking very forward to it!

I recall that the guy who made this game made an entirely new engine from the ground up just for it. Which is outstanding to me. I'll definitely be trying to play this one just to see how different it feels compared to other games as a result of this. It's looking real cool already!

This game is gonna look NUTS on the Switch OLED.
