The game has such sights to show you! I could not get enough of the first two.

I think it's cool how a game like Endless Ocean is getting another chance to see the light of day. I love it when Nintendo revisits their more obscure and underutilized series, like what they did with Famicom Detective Club, Advance Wars, and Another Code. Here's hoping they'll continue to do that with their other overlooked and underrated games/series in the future!

I had to come here to see for myself. After all these years, my little brother (now 22) messaged me that this was coming next week. We had a friend who was diagnosed with cancer back when the first one came out. We didnt have much, but I saved up enough money to buy a wii and the OG endless ocean. Me and my brother spent countless hours playing this with our friend at his house not knowing what the end outcome would be. We had fun all the way up to the end. I cant yell you the wave of emotion that swept over me hearing the music. I do know that our friend is in a better place, hopefully playing his own endless ocean. I thank you for remembering those of us who played the old game and whole heartedly invite others that are on the fence to play this game. It truly is a tranquil experience like none other. For those who know, you know whats in store for us! I know this might not be seen but once again thank you!

I'm so excited for this I'm going to cry, truly. Blue World for me through one of the hardest times in my life and this game looks amazing. I can't wait to share this game with my kiddo.

Heh, that's how the game starts is not enough oxygen, but as you progressive and level up, you'll be able to stay underwater for more than 2 hours of course.

@@tolstartheking While I do think that both those series deserve more than they get, there's a *lot* more IP that Nintendo could be marketing and boosting. I'm talking broader than just Star Fox or F-Zero. Starfy, Pilotwings, Kururin, Chee Chai Alien, Fossil Fighters, Magical Vacation, Pushmo, Excitebike, Rhythm Heaven, Punch Out: those are just a few examples. There's definitely quite a bit more, but it might be a bit much to list them all here. 😅

Seems VERY different from its predecessors but I'm soooo excited to chill in this game. I stan Endless Ocean 2 as one of the mightiest games on the wii/wii-u ever

Still hoping There is the aquarium like in the second game at least now we know its not just a rogue like diving game but There is a Story !

i remember diving in the ruins at the start for the first time and encountering the shark there ....still a vivid memory even though its been years . same with helping the dolphine getting back to its group at this specific stone formation or seeing manaties for the first time.

Weird that the fish glowing is actually worked into the narrative as "algae". I REALLY hope it becomes a toggle after you complete the story; finding new fishies for your encyclopedia using personal intuition was part of the fun.

I have been waiting for this sequel for years

When i need it the most. This helped when i was going through depression at a young age and now that its at it's worst i get this. Thank you nintendo.

Yes! Some really solid info! I have a really good feeling for how this game is gonna be now, and I'm excited! One big negative, though, is the apparent lack of going on land and any animals that could be found there. There's not even any penguins or seals! Who's idea was this!? 😭 Still some interesting stuff, though. Especially with the glowing creatures and the missions for finding mythicals. The animals following you mechanic is adorable too, ngl.

I wouldn't give up hope on that yet. Worst case scenario I'm sure we'll see seals and penguins in the water but I wouldn't be surprised if there are places to come ashore. The trailers can't give away ALL the features before launch, or at least they shouldn't. The ones that do tend to spoil so much that it detracts from the experience.

Been here since the original Endless Ocean. This series has brought me so much happiness over the last several years. There are no words to describe how excited I am for this game.

Y'know, the game looks beautiful. Anyone who says the Switch isn't capable of "good graphics" and such should probably look at this game. The fish move and react realistically too, I'm impressed. It's nice to see this series come back. I like Nintendo's more chill series like this and Pilotwings.

This game looks so amazing! I wish it was coming to Steam. I don't own a Switch, but for those who do, you're in for a treat. The exploration and cozy vibes are awesome!

I've never heard of this series, but I'm super excited to play this. I bought another game called Beyond Blue and I've replayed it over and over hoping that another game similar to it would emerge. This is so much better than I hoped.

I played the one on the Wii growing up. That starting out shallows area is a part of me that I always remember and that my family remembers from watching me play on the living room TV. Definitely going to buy this, even if it’s just for nostalgia.

Alright I guess it has to be me, I’m worried about this games art direction and story modes. I’m afraid they scrapped a lot in favor of multiplayer

@@kevmclarty the story mode wasn't much in the other games either. Forever mad about all that build up for the "mythical creature" at the end to be a white whale.

I hope this’ll be good, I LOVED the first one as a kid. I hope they’ll remaster the first one.

They’ve added ‘mythical creatures’ to a game about the ocean where some of the most amazing animal on earth live.

As a Sim racer, And a fan of all things with an engine, I don't know what about. This is appealing to me except for everything about it. I'll be picking one up.

my heart skiped a beat when I saw this. I was wanting a switch and now I'm going to have to get one. loved the 2 other endless ocean games on the Wii.

I feel like if it was on a more powerful console Id be more excited. Endless Ocean: Blue World had this sort of tropical and more detailed oceanic "haze" to it which made it actually cool to explore, and it actually felt like you were swimming in an ocean. This to me though seems a bit grey and dull compared to the previous game. I also wouldve liked to see the characters from the previous game like Jean-Eric or Oceana make an appearance with more fleshed out personality/voices because without characters its just like any other diving game. HOPEFULLY it does well though because Id love to see this series get more content in the future

Blue World's Thanatos scarred me for life; every night, religiously, I have horrific nightmares about sharks, sharks bigger than any other. And now, it's time to face that fear.

Remember playing the other games with my mother when I was younger, can’t wait to show her this 😍
