The painting scene is a reference to the 1998 film, The Truman Show. 4. The birds are flying in a "V" formation, but in the wrong direction. 5. Here's another interesting one. After watching love me again and Rainy days, idk but thinking, this is actually about V n Army. The time he felt during the pandemic era. His Blue & Grey. Depression time. He made the songs inspired by the situation at that time, then with genius he composed and wrote the lyrics into a romantic song. Idk I'm very sure about this. So in my opinion what made he broken heart was the situation when he had to face a pandemic because he couldn't meet Army, lost hope and a very big desire to be able to meet Army again. so it's not about a person at all, but about the situation he n the Army. we can see how detailed the MV describes the pandemic situation. cave. describes being isolated from social life. his attire and standing microphone portrayed him as a singer but singing alone without an audience. a tv n chair is described as just sitting doing nothing but watching. and on Rainy days, showing acceptance of the situation by showing working from home. create something art. , painting describes for self-healing. and blooming roses symbolize there is still hope. Those lyrics... maybe I'm just delusional, that it's about him and the Army. But . We can pull a red line. This is the situation he (BTS) went through with Army at that time. 😊

I am amazed when most of the reactors say it looks so cozy. I see and hear sadness. Big Hits notice said to “listen to the songs in order on the Album. #1. Rainy Days, 2. Blue, 3. Love Me Again, 4. Slow Dancing and 5. For Us.” We heard Love Me Again first…”No I don’t want nobody else, I wish you could love me again.” Chorus. So this song should have come before Love Me Again. If we listen in order when the album comes out, maybe we will know by the last song if V has moved on or if he is back with his love. We see him smelling an article of clothing, then he plops face down with the article of clothing on, hoodie? When he is laying on the bed, smiling, perhaps he is thinking of his love. Because when is laying on the bed previously, he is rubbing the spot where is love is no longer there. Then we see his eye, which is tearing and a tear is getting ready to fall we see sadness. He is so focused on his phone waiting for a response to the text he sent (?) He doesn’t realize he is pouring so much sugar, if that is what it is. At the stove, smiling at the camera, in black & white, he smiles, could his love be recording him? I watched another reactor who said about drawing on the glass was perhaps the idea taken from The Truman Show, was almost the same thing Jim Carrey drew when he finds thousands were watching him by hidden cameras. I may be wrong, but I love the song, especially his sing/rap part.💜 Hope you will “analyze” Rainy Days and update us.

Tae has that 'old soul' and these are definitely old school-retro R&B songs. Perfect for his voice & vibe. I'm hoping the album has some traditional jazz from his as well! I feel you. Listening to Love Me Again for the first time… I was trembling. The anticipation was too much. I was so thankful the song was beautiful and Tae has such great control over his vocals in the song. I was in tears towards the end of the song. He was fire … Rainy Days was soothing with white noise and it felt dreamy, trippy and we were listening to almost the same lyrics and tone again and again UNTIL he sang rapped almost right beside our ears with that low deep voice… that got my attention immediately. Very artsy feel to the whole mv too. The uniqueness of Rainy Days is so Tae. I didn’t think being in a LayOver would require safety suit… Tae is taking us places… I need strategies to cope with the process.

The first MV was grabbed in a cave in Mallorca Spain when the magnificent voice of Taehyung as an echo slip s between stalagmites and stalactites created millions of years ago. Is a song for golden boy. In the second Taehyung is young man in his normal life, working in a boring rainy day while longing for the person he loves. Taehyung, Min Hee Jin and their team was created two masterpiece. Taehyung fans are waiting for a long time his debut as soloist and now this dream has become a beautiful reality. There is a theory that the reason that the video has a lot of blues and yellows as the focal colors with the rest being dark is that those are the main colors that dogs see and he was trying to simulate the vision of his dog! Lets go deeper! There is never a "right" or "perfect" interpretation of art. There is no answer. Good art is the starting point of a discussion, not the end. Art is also YOUR mirror. And I believe that is one of the messages in these two songs. I believe these two songs are closely related, that the whole album has a theme, but what is it? I see some interesting interpretations and heated comments here, if the person he sings to is Army or a private love, but that is honestly irrelevant. We may speculate but unless Taehyung tells us (and he will probably not) we will never know, because he is an artist and as such the art is an entity of its own to him. The object of longing is not going to be obvious. These songs tell us that the album will give us more of Taes artistry than we have seen before. It's possible that the lockdown inspired the aesthetics here. The isolation in the grotto and in the tower, with the tv, phone and computer as the only means of communicating with others seem to support it. We can identify with it. The "random" stuff, activities to pass time, may seem depressing, but there's also a feeling of him being enough in himself, exploring his own little world, in his cacoon in Rainy Days. Yet there's that longing for someone or something in the lyrics, partly in the scenes too, and it creates an interesting conflict between the internal and external worlds. When we analyze we don't jump to fast conclusions but we try an hypothesis. What if the object of longing is Art itself? What happens when we try to see it that way? "I wish you would love me again." A writers block? What is he working on in Rainy Days, all the papers, like scattered thoughts. Or is HE the object of his longing? Missing a lost self love? "Remember how I used to make you laugh the most?" could actually refer to himself. He has become more serious, laugh less than when he was younger. But would he wait for himself to call? Maybe not, but don't dismiss this idea completely for the obvious. It could be a combination and this is where it's time to leave the pretty hopeless job to figure out the artist's intention and in stead focus on how the songs make US feel. Who or what do YOU think about, long for, miss? I feel that these songs came at a perfect time for me, after D-Day. I just want to be alone, wrapped up in a blanket, stream and read... These are my initial thoughts...
