Voices like his doesn't come along very often. It's not just the voice- it's a genuine vulnerability and honesty that together gives everything he does a confident vibe that makes the listener just lean back and appreciate every second.

The maturity in theses two songs is what is so pleasing to my ears. There is no vulgarity. They are just genuinely simple songs that his voice makes great. Because of the sereneness in the way he sings these songs no one else can sing them in this melancholic way and make it sound this good. Such a V vibe and I find his style of music so chill and chilling at the same time. Videos are just as pleasing. The aesthetics are a chef’s kiss. Each one is so different from others. Also he recently said in a interview he wanted to become a memorable singer who presented good music not #1bb or famous or any other achievements. To be fair, I kind of assumed Tae was using the baguette to paint with because it must have been very stale and too tough to eat at that point. Since he doesn't have that partner to share things with anymore, maybe it was just another way to reinforce the fact that he isn't used to being without them. Then again, I could EASILY be overthinking this 😅

The bread reference, and the artistic references in this, are alluding to famous artists in the past. The character that Tae plays is an animator in this MV. He’s using clay tiny heads for a zoetrope, which is a cinematic animation tool used in the 1800s. He’s checking on his face in the mirror for proportion references, and also watching animal animation to create likenesses. And for studying motion. The painting with bread is in reference to a scene in a Picasso documentary where he was painting on glass and filming from the other side. The part with the black and white silhouette refers to another type of animation - Lotte Reiniger.

So the first one is about someone leaving him. The second is about trying to figure out how to get back together. The third looks like he's calling the person and they're not answering his calls so he's going to confront the person. So is going to get back together with this person or is going to catch the person with another guy?🤔

I love your reactions! You really pay attention to details and the overall theme of MV's. And V is very mysterious and complex. Someone said the multiple faces of him is a reflection of his idol status where his image is used over and over. And the symmetrical overlay (get it? layover?? ha! just made that up!) on his face shows how his face is dissected and measured publicly all the time. And I read speculation that his "love" in the song is Army. He misses performing for his fans and it is "raining" in his thoughts. Also, did you notice that it was never raining outside?
