Completly agree with you. My favorite song is Blue too. I'm new in k-pop, but that's because Tae and Le jazz de V. I'm colombian, I love my music (salsa, boleros, ranchera, tangos, etc.) and this singer remember me an other mexican singer of the 40's, Genaro Salinas. Of course, saving the proporcions, but I feel the same vibe.

honestly im soo proud of tae..this album is SOOOO GOOD....its such a musical/artistic masterpiece.....when chapter 2 started i dint know what to expect and jack in the box dropped and thts when i knew i was in for a crazy ride and what a ride it has been wow...LAYOVER has to be one of the best albums ive ever heard.

Tae actual said in an interview that this album is somewhat related to hyyh series. Like if hyyh was about youth, layover is looking back and longing for that youth, while at the same time realising that youth is still Ongoing. I love how interconnected all bangtan discography is!!

If you look at the green mountain scenery at the beginning where they are traveling in the van on the winding road, you will see the big image of his dog Yeontan (or aforementioned stunt double, heh) merged in the sides of the hills a couple of times. It's also because it's the image on the cover art of his new album.
