I like the winch and screw now, flip the splitter vertically, and sit down to split easily. A pickaroon is nice, too.

Don't like constantly sitting and standing. It can lift more then 300# even though only rated for 250. I can lift that size but don't want to because older and wiser now. I did get a picaroon and I have a log ox. I like the picaroon best. Plus, when its horizontal it's easier to load my cart. I have rotator cuff issues form years of overworking and lifting now I try and find the best and easiest way for me. Thanks for the comment and watching.

If you notice a lot of gorilla lift videos the comments are turned off! My hoist is broken out of the box and they never got back to me so much for a family owned customer service!

I called them and they got back to me right away. I was just asking questions though. The ups smashed my box and I told them about it. It was delivered horribly. Is it broken at a weld spot?

Why not use log tongs?? Or use an impact drill to quickly screw into the wood? Does this system cost more than the harbor freight truck crane? If so I’d get the harbor freight crane, that comes with a remote, bottle jack, swivel arm. Thanks for sharing. It’s better than picking stuff off the ground for sure

The nice thing is it will drag and lift effortlessly. I didn't have any big stuff at the time. Usually I use the log ox and a wheel barrel to get the stuff close to the splitter then I put the split stuff right in my yard cart. It's just nice not picking rounds that are really heavy and not flipping splitter horizontal. Thanks for the input!

I like it, as a tool it does it’s job for you👍 even if had a vertical setting on that splitter, getting weird shaped rounds over to you is tough - and happy new year to you

My splitter does have a vertical setting but I like splitting horizontal. Less bending over if everything is set up good. Thanks for watching and HAPPY NEW YEAR to you as well!

If, for whatever reason, that cable breaks or the attachment lets go, that cable is going to slingshot back at you. Otherwise, I like it.

Hardly any tension on the cable it's a 1/4I cable also you won't break it by lifting wood. You would pull your splitter over b4 you would snap the cable. The electric winch would not pull it either if it was that heavy. Trust me I did a lot of rigging in my lifetime. Unless the cable gets frayed really bad then that's on the operator. It's only safety rated for 250# any way. I appreciate the comment. It just keeps me from lifting the heavy rounds and really saves my back. Have a great day and keep on cutting and splitting! GREEN ENERGY!!

Why can't you lift that small round. And how do you get anything done. Seems like the splitter is stuck

It's better for someone with a bad back to keep from lifting I guess you can lift a 30 inch wet ok round that's 20 inches long right up on the splitter but I will us this and save what's left of my back. Plus it will pull heavy out of round logs to you but you don't want it don't buy it it's cheaper then a splitter with a lift.

Need a level spot for the splitter. I was demonstrating how you can pull out of round wood to your splitter if you can't roll the rounds. Also how it lifts wood onto the splitter instead of busting your back lifting heavy wood.

Well some rounds might not be rollable. Plus if you put the husky vertical the foot is a pain for big stuff. If you have a bad back you don't have to bend over. You lift it up to the splitter you split right into your wood cart. Only bend over to hook up log. Plus if you get a fancy vertical splitter it's over 10000 bucks. This is for folks who still love cutting and splitting there own firewood just helps. If I was younger I probably would not use it as much but after 30 years or rebar and concrete I like a little help for my back. Also saves lots of energy. This is just a tool you can use it or not just showing the potential of use. Also you can rig it for your hitch for your pickup and load rounds you would never load by hand without blowing out your back. It's just a tool. You can use a snow shovel or a snow blower or a plow it is the same comparison. Thanks for you comment and for watching!
