For the automotive folks in the crowd, this is why it's good to use a Lab that collects average data for your engine type and you can compare against their data collected from many samples as if you were collecting it on your own fleet!
Can u pls come with practicle limits as per application wise
Are you aware of the calculation jenbacher use for condeming the oil for siloxane contamination? It is something to do with power rating x sump capacity and increase of silicon x 1.1 or something like that to give a decimal that if above a certain level means they should condem the oil? I came across this recently and have no idea how this calculation was created.

Once someone gains so much knowledge on lubricants, do you guys buy the best of the best oils and additives with all the bells and whistles, or do you push them all to their limits with extended change intervals and oil testing? So much to learn about fancy filtering methods and oil formulations for better oil life but in the end, is money the answer to everything? After going from knowing nothing to learning so much on this channel it feels like there's always something better, with no correct answer. I no longer look at my jug of mobil 1 the same; sort of like a never satisfied father. Maybe i need to learn to enjoy what i have. What has tribology done to me 😂
