Used my Canned Deer to make Deer Hash

I can my own deer meat instead of freezing it. I can ground deer, cubed stew meat, and whole deer roast. One of the reasons why is because I love the flavor the canning process gives it. I also love how convenient it is to take off the shelf and use for a quick recipes for dinner, lunch, or breakfast. In this recipes, I used the cubed stew meat and my canned potatoes. You can use store bought potatoes as well. You can use fresh potatoes, but I it won't be the same.
Start off by browning the potatoes in a skillet with butter. Remove the potatoes once browned. Then add the canned deer meat and brown that. You want it to be on the crispier side. Then add your potatoes back into the skillet to warm them back up. Your done!! I like to add hot sauce to mine and served with eggs and toast. My family loves it.
The deer meat had already been seasoned with a beef bouillon cube and cooked during the canning process. Check out my canning deer meat process video here....
