After watching the reel several times. I think the award recipients are having pictures taken with their presentation/escorts. Coach Staley gestured toward Caitlin and then the presenter or escort attracted her attention. They are likely good friends or longtime associates. Notice both recipients are embraced by the person I am referring to as a presenter/escort. Caitlin is not quite as relaxed as Coach Staley. I don’t recognize the woman in red, but guessing she is younger than Coach Staley , she might be a former player. I’m guessing that her presenter for Coach of the year might be a former player. The joking around and informality would be consistent with a scenario posited as such.

Big credit to the South Carolina coach who stayed focused when her team was down double digits in the first quarter. Her incredible record speaks for itself. Edit: give credit to both teams. SC had the overall top talent and they deservedly won. Iowa played very well with great integrity and came in second two years in a row. Had they won it would have been a major upset. There’s no shame in second - it’s better than third. I really admired the competitiveness of both teams and the clean game they played.

After watching the reel several times. I think the award recipients are having pictures taken with their presentation/escorts. Coach Staley gestured toward Caitlin and then the presenter or escort attracted her attention. They are likely good friends or longtime associates. Notice both recipients are embraced by the person I am referring to as a presenter/escort. Caitlin is not quite as relaxed as Coach Staley. I don’t recognize the woman in red, but guessing she is younger than Coach Staley , she might be a former player. I’m guessing that her presenter for Coach of the year might be a former player. The joking around and informality would be consistent with a scenario posited as such.

Good thing she believes men should compete against women in women’s sport. But, by all means, wahoowa.
Big credit to the South Carolina coach who stayed focused when her team was down double digits in the first quarter. Her incredible record speaks for itself. Edit: give credit to both teams. SC had the overall top talent and they deservedly won. Iowa played very well with great integrity and came in second two years in a row. Had they won it would have been a major upset. There’s no shame in second - it’s better than third. I really admired the competitiveness of both teams and the clean game they played.
