    It’s a bit sad to see all the negative comments directed towards Coach Sides. As an Iowan and Clark fan I don’t see any animosity in the comments coach Sides made. My guess is she is trying to figure out how to put Caitlin in the best position to succeed while building up the rest of the women on the team. Guarantee you that Caitlin is okay with that as she wants the W more than anything else.

    You get it. People are silly to think that Coach Sides would say anything to disrupt the synergy this young team has. Or would intentionally break the trust she’s establishing with Clark and the team. Take it from a person who is a former athlete on a high level; coaches and players converse. She’s not saying anything the team doesn’t know. She’s being practical and realistic.

    @@dennishartley5681 KEEP her open comments in the locker room, it does not belong in front of a media microphone. She is a narcissist who wants the world to know she is the boss in charge. The hell with talent. There is a reason she was a career assistant on a Lottery Draft team 2 years in a row. Caitlin could run the team better than she can, because she has really studied the game since she was 4 years old. While other players were social justice warrior activists, Caitlin was in the gym hitting 500 shots a day. This coach does not have the right temperament to guide a team to success. I wish Caitlin would stand up and explain to her who has the fate of the franchise in her own hands... as well as the league. If she pisses off Caitlin, the GM and League Commissioner might have something to say about that. I bet if Caitlin told the Commissioner that she cannot work with this coach, she would be gone in under a week. The League management knows where their bread is buttered. They already tipped their hand when they gave in to chartered flights last week.

    That has always been an area of her game she needs to work on. I noticed that was a weakness of hers in college. She has to lock in and not allow good defenders to frustrate her, much easier said than done. Lol. She has a few other adjustments to make. She’s pretty good now but when she develops into a complete player, it’s going to be a joy to see. The young lady is special.

  • @Insertwittypunchlinehere

    @Insertwittypunchlinehere

    14 күн бұрын

    @@malebovinemanure Right and Caitlin struggled that game and was visibly frustrated. The game against UCONN in which Iowa won, same thing Muhl gave her a hard time. She scored 21. Those women who guarded her all came from the SEC (toughest conference) and aren’t even the best defenders (Muhl is Raven isn’t.) Still, she never won a championship on the collegiate level. That’s what’s held over her head. Now she’s in the pros and has an opportunity to win. She has better players around her now, so as long as she remains disciplined and humble (parents did an amazing job with her) she’ll be unstoppable. I want Caitlin to kick butt and to continue to grow the sport. She is absolutely great for the sport but I’m also realistic; I saw weakness in her game and the great thing about that is as good as she is, there’s opportunity for growth. Which will only make her that much better. People need to realize a critique or something factual about a player you may like is not an indictment on that person. You can probably go under Steph Curry’s games from college and see my comments on there, loved him but knew he would have an adjustment period in the NBA. He did and has 4 rings. I believe the same with Caitlin.

    FANS ALERT FANS!!! IF THIS COACH WANT HER TO CHANGE HER STYLE YOU WILL NOT BE WATCHING AN EXCITING GAME. Why even draft a player like her if you aren't going to utilize her style and shot. Let's change Caitlin to another player like everyone else. I guess this would make the team like her other teams. No need to change up the teams game if you don't have a player popping 3's and opening up the game for her teammates. I guess the Fever management don't want to make $$$. Fans return your tickets or boycott the games until this coach is gone or admits she was wrong and needs to change up her plan for the team. Come on Fever. Need some leadership or you going to lose ALL THESE NEW FANS THAT ARE VOICING THEIR OPIONS. I know I am only watching WNBA due to Caitlin playing. If it weren't for her I would just watch the NBA and college ball. Crazyness I tell you or rather total mental break on them. She can't handle this style of play. She don't know what to do. So did the coach decide to change Mr. Curry's shot? or um Reggie Miller's shot? Nope the coaches adapted to their play style and look what happened. So I guess Indiana Fever don't want to become a WINNING FRANCHISE. SAD for their fans. I and now on the fence and will wait and see what happens.
