Yes. just got inspected last month and they definitely told me to put my high beams on during the inspection.

Every light that’s on your truck is required to work. That’s why I only keep the lights required by law, even though I love chicken lights.

No high beams? Isn't that a inspectable item on a inspection? Pretty confident they are required by DOT. Might want to verify.

Yeah, that engine should check out about 2200 RPM. Not that I recommend running it that high but that spot where the rev limiter should be set.

You need a boost gauge for that turbo I think if it is low boost it would throw a code.

If you sale k9 u going to miss it so bad knowing someone else is driving it

does the windshield glass need a polish? if there's no big chips in it you could polish the windshield, but I think windshield tint with a drop visor would be the icing on the cake. (fmcsa permits windshield tint too)

It’s possible the turbo might be going bad but I have an FLD that’s identical to that truck I use as a backup truck. You might just be used to the Cummins power. With those 12.7s the power just isn’t there…the rev limiter isn’t helping either because all the power in those engines are high in the rpm’s. Great truck though lol. Most reliable things ever

Sounds like u have a boost leak . check the clamps

You should get ahold of Tim Gentry, from Gentry and Sons! He knows 60 series like the back of his hand!!! He’d be able to point you in the right direction for tuning little mule!

How to make a taller console was cup holders and a subwoofer

I think I would look at installing the new center console with cup holder sideways. Both seats have cupholder and is not in the way.

Hate to be that guy but you’ll need the Brights to work in order to pass a DOT. If the mechanic signs off on it, doesn’t mean an officer won’t cite you for it if they give you a roadside. Just fair warning.

I doubt it’s your turbo. I’m sure it has a factory tune in the ecm. Get her tuned up. My 12.7 is putting out 598 hp at the wheels and 1958 torque on the dyno. 171702 turbo.

Go long ways on back wall with console if it’ll fit maybe?

I’ve got a local mechanic that can plug it up and run a scanner.

Jesse installed LED on our KW and hell u don't have to use the high beam anymore they are bright. Jesse brought me dinner i was starved. And we watch the video while we ate with ear bud's. And i texted the kid's to tell them they can bring there friend's with us when we watch Guardian's Of The Galaxy 3 tonight at the movie theater. Jesse can't wait for the new Fast Furious Movie and Creed 4. The pastor's are happy seeing the church yard all mowed and trimmed (Weedeater) They was happy seeing Jesse and Cash and Austin and Justin. Jesse was on the riding lawnmower and Justin using the self propaled push mower. And Cash and Austin using the weed eater's. They spotted Jesse on the security system and both was like is that TJ or not. Cause he's wearing a stocking cap. And Jesse did not have a bandanna to wrap around his head. And let his hair hang over around the side. They was out of town but got back when they was finished. And they was happy. Told us we better be at Church for Sunday service and we said we will. cause mother's day is Sunday. I just got a text from Cash and he asked me where i am and i said the Salon and he said stay there. And i go why and i bet it's a surprise cause he asked Jesse what size shirt i like to wear.

Justin, you have out kicked your coverage with TWs.

Something doesn't sound right on your wiring. For low beams only one light should be on - the one with 3 wires. Ground/Low and ground/high. The high beam has only ground/power so it only comes with high beams. So it looks like you have low beam on on the main light and the high beam only light is on whenever the headlights are on. That's why, as you say, the low beams are bright enough. Double check your wiring. The high-beam light (2 wires) should only be on when you turn on the high beams. That's the way normal four-headlight systems work.

@@00FLD120 ground goes to both. High beam goes to both (3rd on the 3 pin right) Low beam goes to the 2nd pin on the 3 pin light. It's all stock on a four headlight wiring harness. By drl do you mean driving lights? Driving lights should be wired to come on with high beams only.

@@threynolds2thanks for the reply, Daytime running lights. So the halo around the lights that are normally just for daytime. I suppose they get wired into a hot wire in your corner lights so when you turn them on they will remain on. Sorry I hate wiring, haha.

That's exactly what I said. On low beam, only the low beam light (2nd pin on 3 pin) is on. On high beam, both lights are on (3rd pin on 3 pin). Daytime running lights are wired to the ignition side of the ignition switch so they are on any time the engine is running..

⁠​⁠@@threynolds2 I’m thinking of wiring the DRL to the harness of the blinker using a t-tap splice connector and a 16 awg leading to both headlights on one side connected with a male spade connector. Since headlight has female end (for DRL) . Is that doable without issue? Thanks again.

Hey Justin,I just watched Tim gentry’s latest video. He has to pay more than $230,000 dollars for the last six month for his insurance.he was hoping to get back some money ,since he hasn’t made a claim but instead he has to pay extra. Insurance is a total scam,and shifty as anything.

Really starting to dislike these intro videos that KZreadrs are using these days. They are way to long and redundant. Better intros would be highlights from the video along with a very brief channel name display.
