This case always makes me so sad. I'm a recovering addict/ alcoholic (6.5 years and counting) who did a little sex work and I'm so very grateful I was able to close my way out. These poor women were human and did not deserve what happened to them. I pray that they get justice and rest easy. If your struggling, keep on going. It's never too late to change your path in life! The fact that a 16 year old girl can be arrested for "solicitation" is nauseating. She wasn't a sex worker she was a child who was preyed upon by grown men. Why didn't the police use her knowledge to arrest the pedophiles who assaulted her? She was a victim not a criminal. Ridiculous.

I think it's because they (s3x workers) made themselves into objects. They sell their body so any disgusting male can use it, as often as they wish. I mean, if you rent out your house, car, whatever, you're acknowledging it's just an object. And we all know people never take care of rentals like they care for their own stuff. I'm not sure, but I think they'd make more money if they just got a full time job. 🤔

I am from Syracuse New York, and just today heard about a murder of a woman known as Carol Ryan, who was murdered and raped with a firework back on September 1st 1996. I don’t know much about the case other than she was from the Syracuse area and was found in Jamesville New York. Would love if you would consider looking into it and possibly doing a video on that case if you have time? It seems to be a very intriguing case, along with me living in the same town as the murder, it would be amazing if I had one of my favorite KZreadrs do a video about this 1996 Carol Ryan case in Syracuse New York!

I remember when these murders first were reported on back in 2009 and being an Albuquerque resident, it was so terrifying and tragic thinking of those poor women being slain and then dumped like trash on the West Mesa. The police really didn’t do them any type of justice and basically considered them nothing more than prostitutes and drug addicts. So thank you for giving this case a much needed boost back into the spotlight so perhaps the families can find some sort of peace knowing that their loved ones were not insignificant and that they mattered. I don't think the previous suspecteds were the killer. The killer seems methodical and knows that plastic combinaton with heat increases the determination of the bodies. That killer was well planned and it wouldn't be too far-fetched that the guy is connected with the police. I disagree with the unorganized description of the killer. He was well prepared and took his time. Why else would he pick a desolate area.

As if being a “worker” makes it less worthy of a cause- which we see ALL the time- but this is a capital case of how undermining & disgusting it gets on the side of what we accept too readily as “justice” in our country. Omg…. We need more ppl to stand up against this negligence and abuse from those that CLAIM to brandish justice underneath their belts, and just use that little metal shield as some sort of excuse.

Albuquerque PD will never investigate this as a serial killing case, until a victim who “matters” is a part of that grave site! I bet if it was one of their daughters sisters, wives, mothers - - they WOULD give a shit! I absolutely do not believe that in 11 bodies, even if they are just bones, that there was no DNA evidence at all found! Were any of them wearing jewelry? Were they wrapped in duct tape or plastic (like we heard in the tape)? Did they have fingernail scrapings to test (if fingernails at all)? There has to be something! NO ONE is that good! Hmmm, unless you know what you’re doing, & know what evidence to get rid of… 🤔

DISTURBINGLY similar to the Gilgo Beach Murders.... sorry for my poor english, btw for me the culprit was the n.2, the one shot by the pimp. Practically all the victims were Latin America-types, and even it's not a 100% mathematic rule, it's well documented how sexual desires are often directed toward the same "race", same social background subjects, because the fantasies started in the childhood, in the family / family friend's field. He lived so close to the "dump" u_u area that it makes me thinking it was very easy to go there, to knew how safe it was for him, what was going on... and he could easily watch his "collection". His last actions are pretty revealing. The sound of plastic bags and tape gave me the chills. All those poor young women.

I am a current sex worker I guess you could say. I dance at a gentlemen’s club so im not sure. But I do want to say you always make the victims feel like victims no matter what. A lot of people tend to feel like people are defined by their job 100% of the time. Thankyou for always giving victims a voice .

It’s sad that because of someone’s lifestyle that they are considered less than human than others. Shame on that police department. Probably a police officer who did this.

  • @ripwednesdayadams

The fact that sex work is illegal directly contributes to the assaults and murders of sex workers. It’s disgusting that law enforcement considers sex workers the “less dead”. Little effort is put into investigating their disappearances and murders. My heart goes out to all of the victims- they truly did not deserve this. The police should be ashamed of themselves. It made me sick to hear about numerous predators who work in law enforcement and faced little to no consequences for their crimes.

And it started with one bone . So sorry to all familias . Sorry for their loss . It’s scary when it’s dirty cops involved. I was harassed when I was just a kid at 16 on my 10 speed bike just going to school or with my latino dad in his truck Turing the lights on hey poor dad , all this In our neighborhood . It went on til I was 17ish . Yea I never told or went into the station to file a report. Officer Jackson knew where I lived . And at the time I was dating a gang member. He wanted to date me . I was very young .

As a person from the southwest, ABQ has always been a cesspit in my mind. The fact that police there are so incompetent and unprofessional/down right evil doesn't shock me one bit. If I never had to go there again, i think I'd be just fine.

As a longtime resident of ABQ this is true. Can you also believe it got worse? ABQPD got defunded hard during the DefundThePolice movement. Then I don't think they ever got the alternate department stood up very well. I know several of them were killed. Glad I left around 2019.

I bought a house just on the other side of the wall where the bones were found. The rains that possibly washed them up actually knocked down the wall flooding the new housing development I purchased my home in. They filed bankruptcy being all these houses were flooded out. Got another built house few blocks over and that house was haunted. I get the feeling there was alot of victims out there by different people. I mean people from here always say jokingly about driving up there saying are you taking me to the Llanos to kill me. Well before these women were found. That area was pretty well known for crime and murder before the housing started being built up that way

My mom and her mother and sisters lived right in front of were they were murdered. In the 2000s they moved to they're grandmas house (all of them, after my great grandmas death) a few years later, maybe 2 or 3 , my auntie moved to theyre old house because she was of age, she still tells us about how some nights she heard women screaming, and how she payed no attention to it because she thought people were messing around since thats what they did as kids too. Terrifying. Im glad we dont live in thag house anymore.

I went to Albuquerque in 2001. I didn't really feel safe the whole time we were there, we only stayed two days and moved on. We were supposed to be there for the full seven days but there is a lot of dodginess going on. I was amazed with what people were getting away with on the street without police intervening. There was prostitution rampant, not a great place to take a Vacay. We ended up in Truth or Consequences. Where I ended up helped bust a pedophile, but that's another story for another time. But I hope that little girl we helped has healed & is loved🙏🏻💫💞
