The Manipulation & Murder of Elaine O'Hara

Elaine O'Hara just wanted to be loved and she thought she could get that from a man she met online. It turned out that all he wanted to do was manipulate her into meeting his own selfish and evil needs.

    To me, taking advantage of a mentally ill person is practically the same as abusing a child or the elderly. And this guy knew for a fact that she was clinically ill. Therefore, he’s a MONSTER.

  • @emexdizzy

    @emexdizzy

    5 ай бұрын

    A caveat I'd add as someone with mental illness, I would contest that it's like taking advantage of a child because we actually can consent to relationships with another adult and children cannot, but the elderly comparison is apt in that a lot of elderly folks share the experience of being made vulnerable by a disabling condition despite being adults of consenting age.

    I was diagnosed with PTSD and severe depression and anxiety at 15 due to an attempted murder. I had undiagnosed BPD until I was 22. I had also been sexually abused around 11 years old and ended up becoming hyper sexual as a result. I’m now 30 and in my first ever stable relationship. Being a vulnerable person who just wants someone to love them, the internet can be so dangerous. People can portray themselves as someone completely different.

    @@thisisMONSTERSI think it is irresponsible and kind of creepy that you chose to cover this murder. A lot of your viewers are probably children whom have never had a sexual relationship. Discovering these things on their own would be healthier than learning about it on the Internet. Sure dominance and submission exists, but it is a theme for adults. If I had kids, I would not want them exposed to it in this way. My viewpoint will most likely be unpopular. Unsubscribed.

As a young adult, she was reassessed, and they said she's got borderline personality disorder, not bipolar. I don't know if the symptoms are so similar in teenagers that it took over ten years to get the correct diagnosis, but it is very frustrating to think that we spent that much time trying to treat bipolar disorder, and it really wasn't working. 😳😠🥺 She is doing well now, thank goodness, and I am so thankful that we are still close. ❤️❤️❤️

    I used to sell books and I made thousands of dollars off of the Gor book series! They were no longer in print. What they are actually about is a planet that is hidden from earth by the sun blocking its orbit somehow. The men on the planet ride dragon like smaller creatures called Tarns. All men are the masters of the women on the planet. If they are someone's slave, then they were "collared". You had red silk kajira (slave girl), or white silk kajira. The red silk kajira were the ones that the men could use sexually, they were usually tavern serving girls, who served Paga (an alcoholic beverage) to all the Masters. A master could use her at will. The white silk kajira were solely committed to one Master and nobody else could touch her. The series was science fiction and are highly sought after. I made $800 on one skinny raggedy paperback. Some were harder to find than others. And yes, there are groups out there that live and practice Gorean lifestyles. I know, because I was briefly part of that group long ago. It was a passing thing for me as I don't like being told what to do. Lol! It's sad that this poor girl met this man who totally ignored the rules of bdsm. Very sad. She gave herself to this man who didn't follow the rules as she did. He wasn't into the Gor living. No he was just a sick fuq.

    I just noticed that Jiles only has 714k subscribers... WHAT?! You're so good Jiles, you really deserve more. So here's my comment to help the algorithm, but I'll also make sure all my coworkers know about you. I recently discovered that almost EVERYONE I work with listens to true crime videos and podcasts via their ear buds (like I do). So we kinda trade names of KZreadrs and Podcasters as if you all are collectible baseball cards, lol. Hopefully I can help boost your subscribers tomorrow at work.

    The general rule of thumb for BDSM is practice “safe, sane and consensual” and consent is the only part of this that Elaine was able to give 😭

  • @emexdizzy
    @emexdizzy5 ай бұрын

    Damn, this hits painfully close to home. I'm repulsed ace, but I have a lot of physical and mental illnesses and I hang out in a community of folks who deal with similar stuff. I know people with Borderline, people dealing with PCOS, and folks actively practicing various BDSM kinks (BDSM isn't a singular kink, it's an umbrella term for a lot of kinks that rely on uneven dynamics between people consenting to those dynamics). My friends handling their struggles still manage to healthily navigate mental illness in consensual long term relationships, often with both parties having various mental illness they deal with. Some have healthy active BDSM dynamics with one or multiple significant others. They have community and other acquaintances and friends including me, and we provide each other a support system we all feel safe opening up to, and that support system has their back. With Elaine, she needed what we have, a supportive community, but she lost most of her very small support system when she lost her mother and psychologist, and it made her especially vulnerable. It's genuinely sad because she shares a struggle my friends and community share. She deserved good, kind friends, support, and community to thrive, and instead she got a selfish dom who didn't give a shit about her. Fucking evil piece of shit. A dom is supposed to care for their sub, to let the sub's desires drive the interaction, and it's utterly disgusting that this heinous monster abused her. Hope he burns in hell.

    I'm very familiar with this case. I know the area very well where her remains were found. I actually found the exact spot up in the dublin mountains, where her remains were found, a few years ago. A very sad and lonely place to have been murdered. Up in the middle of a forest. Very lonely. I said a few prayers for Elaine. I hope that fooker rots in prison. 😢
