Unlocking the Secret Power of Sensitivity at Work | Caroline Ferguson | TEDxDrapanosWomen
One in five humans shares a trait that’s very much needed in today’s world: the genetic characteristic of being a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP).
In this enlightening, emotionally resonant talk, Mindset Trainer Caroline Ferguson explores what it’s like to be highly sensitive and shows how five HSP “superpowers” deliver exceptional value, especially in business.
However sensitivity often attracts judgement and Caroline’s survey results sound a warning for families, friends, teachers and employers of HSPs: it’s time to ditch the stigma and become better informed carolineferguson.com/
Caroline challenges organisations to embrace the neuro-diversity in their workforce and unveils a two-step solution that can unlock the remarkable power of highly sensitive people.
She is a Mindset Trainer, Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist and Business Communicator.
Caroline is a flag-waving “Sensitive Upstart” and advocate for highly sensitive persons (HSPs). She helps high-potential business owners and professionals to overcome limiting beliefs, reboot their inner game and skyrocket their impact.

Since you talk Caroline I started noticing so many "snowflakes" and they make our world so beautiful. I am glad you were the first to teach me this about my friends!
"If we were all warriors, we'd all be dead." Very important subject. Thank you...

Exactly, we would all have killed each other.
I just hate getting overwhelmed, it's so embarrassing because the majority of people are so unforgiving. If you cry, it's like the unpardonable sin.

Thank you, Aruna! You are not at all weird - you're a stunningly valuable and talented human being.
This is such a lovely and timely talk Caroline. Many congratulations on noticing the probable link between 'high sensitivity' and burn out. More importantly, noticing the distinct attributes of 'highly sensitive people'.

Thank you for your kind comments. I agree, it is vitally important that HSPs receive acceptance - from themselves as well as others. They bring such value.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Dianne. Thank you for your kind words and offer to recommend.
So very well put, Caroline, and I am glad you have the number to back up what we HSPs feel to be true. Greetings from a fellow Snowflake who considers herself a warrior as well after having embraced my superpowers ;°) - it really works!
Very well said. I love that you are direct and to the point. I'd love to see you do a TED Talk, or even just a KZread video, on HSPs and family & friend relationships.
Well said and presented - thank you
Cheers
Show!
Very interesting talk and it explains very well how we view the world we live in in many different ways. I wish there were more snowflakes around.
Wow. You have described me to a T.
The HSP normaly they are Very Competent persons, High Productives, with strong Motivation at the job and Very Demanding but with Full respect for the others. But don't look to find a job in Germany because they don't look to much for yr skills, motivation or yr competence to do great job. .....Welcome to Germany!!! I was an electromecanical-assembler in UK.
❄️ More snowflakes to the world! ❄️
