A big thank you to @Vessi for sponsoring this video! This has been a tough year with long working working hours with the team throughout the weekdays and the weekends. So what better way than to meet up with the friends at work when there's a small window for a break, than to connect over a great meal. In fact, there's just the place! An all you can eat giant lobster and seafood restaurant serving up lobsters, crabs, oysters and all all the seafood you can imagine in many tasty ways! Baked lobsters, fresh shucked oysters, and dungeons crabs cooked to perfection.
In fact, I would have to say this is probably Toronto's best Lobster and Seafood All You Can Eat Restaurant. Service was impeccable with Jimmy and Jojo at the helm welcoming guests and delivering dish after dish of seafood delights. They had help though with a fleet of robots, by the way, did I mention the restaurant is called Robot Boil House? And as always, as good as the meal was, it was the company and the people that made all the difference!
A big thank you to Keith and Gina and the rest of the team! It was great to have connected in person for the first time after working together so long!

A seafood lovers paradise. I'd love to try that. Cheers, Tim and God Bless! 👍👍✌️🇨🇦
Over the years I have watched many mukbang and restaurant review videos which presented fabulous foods and highly satisfied eaters. Gotta say ~ that looked awesomely incredible - perhaps the greatest meal I've ever seen. Everything about that banquet looked so tasty and superbly well prepared. Normally, when I eat sea food, I like to have some butter on the side with perhaps some lemon. But that fabulous meal looked like it did not need either addition. That restaurant must be a fabulous place to go to. Kudos to them for their great work.

TIM- What an amazing FIND since any Seafood Restaurant on #3 Road in Richmond B.C. charge over $100 for a much smaller Lobster!!!
Oh my! I got full just watching you eat. Don't get lobster here in PNW but do get the lovely Dungeness crab. Thank you for being the bright spot on a bit of a grey day here in Willamette Valley Oregon.

Here the server still passes off the dish but all over Japan in fast food restaurants, cafes, regular dine-in restaurants the robots bring the food to your table and you take it yourself. And most amazing, some conscientious young Japanese hire disabled Japanese workers to operate them from home so they can engage socially and earn an income! Amazing stuff!

Hi Tim, I see you mentioning Vancouver. It can be confusing to the viewers as there are three Vancouvers . Vancouver, Washington State, USA and the other two in BC Canada, with the City of Vancouver and Vancouver Island. That Toronto Buffet looks awesome! Best Wishes Safe Travels and Adventures.
@TimLeeLetsGo

Ah, you're right. This is Vancouver BC although I've been to the one in the states as well.
@MrKaido93
Жыл бұрын
@Tim Lee Got you. Usually, the cities in the USA are more populated. However, being that Canada's population is concentrated on its southern flank, Vancouver BC is more populated than Vancouver Washington is. It would be interesting to see you make a comparison of the Buffets in both Vancouvers. I got a feeling that Vancouver BC probably offers more with it's larger population and Asian and European communities. The $118.00 Canadian Dollar Buffet price in Toronto came out to like $86.10. in US Dollars. The only negatives that I see is a, 1.5 hour eating time limit ,the Price (borderline) and no Chopsticks. The only thing that I see that was needed, was good sets of Bamboo Chopsticks/ Seafood extraction tools to help handle that superb high quality food! The use of Robotic technology is very innovative! The Lobsters, Crabs ,Lobster Fried Rice, Octopus Balls, Muscles, Shrimp, the Main course, it all looks high quality superb! How do you compare that wonderful Buffet in Toronto to the quality of the Nordic etc? If I am ever back in Toronto, I will have to go to that wonderful special place!

Hello again Tim! Just wondering if you were referring to a kumara when you talked about a 'kiwi'? Kumara is the maori word for sweet potato and a kiwi fruit, or Chinese Gooseberry as they used to be known as, is a small greenish brown, furry piece of fruit with either green, golden or red flesh. Such lovely fresh kaimoana you and your friends got to sample, I'm jelly much!😆Those big lobsters down here in Aotearoa, if you can buy one, would cost in the vicinity of $350-$400NZD ($130 NZD kg) because most of the big ones are exported, mainly to China. Thanks again for the upload my friend....

Thank you so much for the info! Actually I think Gina was referring to the kiwi fruit 😃. Thank you so much for the information. Toronto has a great restaurant scene. Come to think of it, so does Vancouver, (maybe better than Toronto's), and to some extent, so does Québec, and maybe even Montréal (although Montréal has focused on more 'niche dishes,' like bagels, & pizza). Food-wise, mostly only two cultures have made Canada what it is today: Chinese, and to a lesser extent, French. Outside of these, the third greatest positive influence on the Canadian food scene are the indigenous cultures and the many ancient local ingredients. So if you aren't going to eat "Duck Confit" or "Pâté de Foie Gras" in Québec City, or "Fried Lobster in XO Sauce" in Toronto, you'll be feasting on "Grilled Moose Steaks" in upper Saskatchewan, or "Stewed Seaweed-Berries with Salted Giant Cod" up on the coast of Labrador. Truly, Canada had a unique and underrated World-Class Culinary Scene that has yet to be discovered and explored by the more influential palettes on the planet. I just wonder which of the great (non-US) food cities will be the first to open an authentic "Canadian Restaurant," Paris, Amsterdam, Dubai, Tokyo, Sydney, Singapore, Geneva, Shanghai, Berlin, etc. My money is on Tokyo or Amsterdam. Tokyo because they are taken-in by fads there, and Amsterdam because it was the first city in Europe to open an authentic Mexican Restaurant, and because it has easier access to Canadian Ingredients. Either way, I'll be there on opening day, cash in-hand, with my mouth open and my tongue hanging out.

You would be hard pressed to find a decent buffet in Montreal. Seems like they are mostly all you can eat sushi restaurants.
