It's a shame those shoes don't come in W and WW sizes. Living in Houston, one needs shoes like that. Seems like everytime it rains, it floods.

I use to work at Kim Son. Most of the workers don't really understand English that well which is why when you kept saying only 1, they gave you so much more. But they are super nice though! Definitely one of the best buffets around in Houston! Great Video Tim =)

This place certainly did not disappoint, and I found this from David sriracha's video. It's probably the most Vietnamese dishes I've ever had, and so many new dishes to try.

It was nice to see Mr Tim go eat at a soulfood restaurant you can definitely get all your 4 food groups People tend to flock to Asian Buffets and thoses places really don't have many vegetables for your health...I enjoy cabbage, carrots ect.

Glad you had the chance to try Kim Son buffet. I live in Houston, and have been there many times. The food is always good, and the noodle bar is my favorite. I try not to go often, like only once a month, because I tend to overstuff myself, lol

Ohhh.. quite excited to hear about your visit and definitely check this place out (and check there site because they offer the crawfish only on Fridays at the time I was there). There's also a really great Mexican place called Xochi that offers one of the best Mexican brunch buffets on Sundays. Wishing you a great visit and watch out for the humidity!

I knew it was Houston the second I saw your drone over and about. I eat there often and highly recommend it 😋 you walked off of Buffalo Bayou too! I live off Cedar Bayou! Welcome and enjoy 😉 A little trivia 💜 I began going to the restaurant when it was located on the other side 30 years ago and very small but always clean and packed with people.

Just for clarification, the round yellow cake is not bánh cống. It’s called bánh khọt. Bánh cống is made in different batter, and we usually add shrimp, mung bean in a ladder and deep fried it. While bánh khọt is made from banh xeo batter but we pour the batter in a special similar to takoyaki pan (khuôn bánh khọt or bánh khọt pan). Different cooks will make different banhkhot outcome. Some like them crispy so they add more oil in the pan while some add little. Some can add a little condense coconut milk on top so it’s taste creamier. Hope my info help!

The blood cake is my favorite! I’d be a regular at this buffet if I lived there.
