@@LonelyJester @ikashibimauler @CFord5312 umm well, this is a few years later but I did it, I took the entire concept of Apex, Abyss and some other tracks from UtA and wrote a campaign that is currently being played by 6 people, not gonna lie, probably the most fun and interest we all have ever had playing D&D. The campaign takes the basic themes and aspects of the songs but I had to fill lots of lore and tweak some things to make it player friendly.

Random Guy Honestly I they are being respectful, Britney isn't one of those people who get by by looks, so most people admire her because of her personality and singing prowess. So honestly I think people are being respectful

I have pretty much all of these books on my Kindle, but I'm still feeling a little jelly. Kindle just can't compete with the feel of an actual paperback and that distinct smell of books.

How am i just now discovering this?!?! How is she so cool and nerdy, yet so freaking amazingly powerful as a singer!!! I am floored! Instant fan! All the players in this band are monsters. I can feel a deep rabbit hole opening up here!

Thank you Brittney for taking the time to go through the tracks for Apex and also Abyss. I just received those CDs today (7/2/21) and I am enjoying them even more, now that you have presented the storyline in detail. What a trip!

6 months after getting this album and I'm still LOVING it.

Just discovered the band and this album is awesome! The "Apex" and Rhapsody Of Fire's last "The Eighth Mountain" literally "once again revitalized" my faith in the metal!

There's a degree of nerdiness required to attain truly epic metal, as exemplified by this video.

Couldn't ask for a better birthday present. This album's gonna be epic \m/

Cleanse The Bloodlines is one the most epic mission briefings I have ever heard.

I love that you've decided to do this. The album is amazing, but to be able to put it into the exact context that the artists envisioned and see/hear the story play out from their perspective just puts it over the top. The only recommendation that I have is that you please do this for Demons of the Astrowaste as well. It is one of my all time favorite albums but I feel that some of the story becomes lost in translation. Thanks Brittany for another truly superb performance.

I'm soo stoked for this album ive been waiting and its almost here. I haven't been a follower until i found "Tonight We Ride". Since then I've been hooked on UTA. I just can't get enough. I love every sound this band has and Brittney's vocals are the perfect fit. \m/ Pre-ordered and waiting to hear the "Apex" Story.

I love that she did this! I'm sure we could get the story without it, but I think it will help us all to see what all went into the writing. It will help fans appreciate it that much more, and likely give us a better understanding and appreciation for all concept albums. I love this.

Yeah, the lyrics are really well written, easy to follow and not in the least bit confusing. Nevertheless, I'm still looking forward to what she has to say about the remaining tracks, especially the last two.

Saw the lyric vid for "Matriarch". I love the way you guys caught the feel of some of the really early 80's metal bands (pre-1983 breakout era) with that; in addition to what you do already for 'power metal' (post-83). That's really a lost art; no one attempts it much anymore, and it was huge here in Cleveland, OH. back then. Looking forward to getting the whole record soon!

Great band Great voice! Definitely gonna order this CD!

Its clear you felt uncomfortable when filming this, but you pushed through it like a boss. I can't wait to listen to this album on repeat when it releases on Friday, its definitely shaping up to be some of your best work. (Btw I preordered the $80 version as soon as I could and got number 62/100 :D)

Poor Brittney. She looks so embarrassed, it seems like this whole video concept is making her feel awkward. Can't blame her either. I mean, sure, when you're writing an epic fantasy story, you're all into it, but when you have to sit down and explain what you wrote to the general public, you just feel silly.

Unless you play a lot of story telling games, like being a Game Master in D&D, Pathfinder, LotFP, GURPS, etcetera, or like Gloom or other games and you have to explain the build up of the scenario and the scenario itself. For example, with Gloom, say I played "Widowed at the Wedding" on one of my characters and let's say his the youngest son of the group of characters I have, now this particular son, "He was always abused by his mother and father, whether psychologically or physically, his mother always manipulated his feelings and created a tangled web in his brain of doubt and personality crises and what have you and she made him feel like he was to blame always for the way his father would mercilessly beat him when ever he made any mistake, which, by his father's metric, he always made. These combined things led to his developing of multiple neuroses, the most prevalent being his schizophrenia, paranoia and his split personality. And one day he met the most beautiful woman he'd ever hoped to meet and despite all his flaws, she loved him back, and they were happy and devoted to each other, so much so that for the first time, the boy thought everything was going to be alright, and they planned to leave this wretched place and build a new life away from the torment of his family, who didn't approve of this girl one bit. One day the boy proposed to this lady and their plan began in motion, and they were finally going to be married after all of the hard work to get this far. Now the boy, he hadn't been having any of his nervous doubts or worries and he seemed okay, his mental ailments didn't seem to be bothering him much... until the altar and the boy blacked out. When he came to realize what was going on, it was too late, Fate cast the die and the events had already been set in motion, the boy was now in his family home, when he asked, "On bail." they said, "For what?"... "Murder.". And the boy realized that he was Widowed at the Wedding and took the life of his beloved.". Then for the other things, I could go into the 4-5 pages I wrote around the smallest of my game worlds.

Best album of 2017, she is absolutely amazing!

LOOK AT THAT BOOKSHELF! Of course you wrote music with thus amazing story. Look at those books, you beautiful nerds!!! I love it!

So I got the album bundle last Saturday almost a week early and at first listen It wasn't really special but after the first listen some songs just kept replaying in my head, so after many listens I'd give it an 8/10 it would be 10 if they kinda went back to their roots with more growls, trust me I love Britney's voice and its awesome but listening to their older albums leaves me wanting more of that. But their stand out songs on this album are obviously The Matriarch and Cleanse The Bloodlines but also Ten Thousand Against One and Apex stand out a lot, but what caught me off guard was Earth and Ashes having clean vocals from Andrew which was refreshing and new in a really good way. All in all this album was worth the money and a great addition to their discography, a must have for any Unleash The Archers fans
