I love how there’s been a long-standing give-and-take between the Western and Samurai/Chanbarra genres that you can hardly make out who’s homaging who anymore.
I had no idea Unforgiven was remade by Japan damn they really like American cinema they remake their own.But then again we remake their movies as well.Speaking of which can you please do Internal Affairs and the Departed comparison that would be awesome.
this is especially cool because of the change of setting
How about film-makers remaking their own film? Hitch, Wyler, Capra and Ozu spring to mind.
