It's weird to think that Undertale is 7 years old now. Like, damn. That's a helluva long time if u think about it. Man, I love this game so much. Toby Fox is one seriously skilled, creative and talented dude for creating such a legendary indie game.

Yea, and I've been playing it since it's release date. I think I've done about 30 pacifist runs and 7 neutral and 1 not completely finished genocide run (it was too sad so i gave up). It started of being fun, yet still such an emotional masterpiece. But the more times i finished the game, the sadder it became as people stopped carrying about the game, i felt more lonely when playing the game. Today when playing the game, the music almost makes me cry of nostalgia. Thank you all for keeping the undertale community alive, and though it's a whole lot smaller than it was earlier, i am thankful that it hasn't completely died yet. And yes, thanks to Toby fox for creating such a masterpiece. Still my favorite game to this day.

I only recently got the game on my switch, but I've been an active part of the fandom and watching gameplay of the game since it pretty much came out. It made me nostalgic and sad when I saw that no animated videos, songs, and the like are being made of Undertale anymore. The fandom is still active, but not as much as it was the first 2-3 years or so it was out which is hugely saddening to say the least :(

@@LewisMcEnd undertale absolutely blew my mind. After the encounter with Toriel I felt guilty and "went back" to redo and then had the encounter with flowey. Played pacifist through the rest of the game and then reloaded before Asgore to get the true pacifist ending. Absolutely mind blowing experience.

Frisk is constantly resetting to eat the cake over and over again.

This is now officially one of undertale event after pacifist run. Plot twist: In that vulnerable moment, "Player" from Underplayer appear and awake Chara and change Flowey back to Asriel, so they're all eating butterscoth pie together.

It's difficult to do a genocide run honestly, that's too hard to kill some characters who are so cool and cute

This video showed up in my recommendation and actually made my memories come to surface. When I was 12, I remember creating whole soft scenarios in my head and being friend with all of them in my imagination. It was such a good comfort and it still is when I go back to those memories :). Golden days, whole afternoons spent at my best friend's house playing UT for hours, drawing so many related art and playing "pretend". This game still means so much to me even if it's been years

this makes me want to be in the world of Undertale even more...

It helps disracting myself from manipulative and toxic parents. It's very nice, thank you.

You know, I can't help but cry whenever I hear this music. I discovered Undertale when I was around 10, and I'm about to be 17 in a few days. Undertale has been a pretty big part of my life, it made me happy. It made me meet friends, and even maybe it isn't so good but it brought me mang cringe memories as well. But cringe or not, they were still memories back when I enjoyed life. Lately I've lost my motivation to try, I'm only 16 and nearing 17, but I've given up on so many things already. I probably won't make it to see even 25 at this rate...so if it ever comes to that, to anyone who reads this, both young and old, please don't be like me. Life is cruel and unfair, but there are good things about it too. You mustn't give up, live your lives, and enjoy good music just like this. Maybe I should take my own advice...but it's too late for me...may you all live wonderful lives, never lose sight of yourself nor what you want to accomplish. Goodbye, and once more, take care of yourself. There's someone who really cares about you.

I use this for lucid dreaming. Making pie and reading with Mom. Endlessly being fooled by a skeleton's pranks, and pranking him back. Telling the other that his spaghetti is wonderful. Wrecking stuff and training with a fish. Watching a terrible anime with a cute dino. Parting, cooking, posing, dancing (and kissing but that's not important fhdgdhsj) with a killer robot. Reassuring Dad that he's a wonderful king. And keeping that ornery, angry little flower company... Dreams are amazing. Dreams are fabulous. Make sure you don't get too wrapped up in them, as your real life is so much more important than these fictional characters. But, if you have a perfect balance of sleep, dreaming, and living your life, I think you're all set.

I cant believe undertale is over 6 years old now. It's changed my life for the better and I've never forgotten about it. The friends you make along the way truly stick with you.

fallen down is the song i had on repeat 24/7 when my grandma passed away… it comforted me somehow… everytime i hear i feel like i’m on the verge of tears

Once when I shifted, someone took me to help them to help them fight against 3rr0r. I just don't remember who. I also had a dream when someone was emiting a very black smoke that somehow I knew was going to kill everyone. On that moment, I knew that I was dreaming, so I tried very hard to wake up, trowing myself from high places, punching myself and etc, but nothing worked. I gave up and walked to my house. In my kitchen, I found 3rr0r. We had a peaceful conversation. I can't remember his voice or what we talked about, but I know that in some point he said that I have something that many would kill for or something like that. After chatting a bit, I woke up.

Ok so I didn't shift last night (sadly) but I was having a hard time falling asleep and this helped. Gonna try again tonight, I'll tell y'all how it goes. Edit: I forgot about this!! So I forgot to lol, trying rn though so we'll see EDIT 2: GUYS HOLY FUCK IT WORKED Edit 3: I've gotten some asks asking what I did! I don't remember much, but I woke up on a couch with Alphys and Undyne, having fallen asleep while we were having a night-long anime marathon. Also, I lived with Alphys.

Dude... the way that "Once Upon a Time" echoes is just so cool, it's like all my memories of UT/DR are echoing and moving around in my head, and the rhythm is comforting... wow. I don't think I'm the only one who truly believes that... if I met the Undertale/Deltarune characters in real life, we'd be great friends. Specifically deltarune, because I actually played that one first lol, not knowing it would change my life (helped me REALLY improve my art skills and voice acting at the very least.) Dang the nostalgia is real.

after you watch some memes about undertale...you see how beautiful undertale actually is without the funny stuff the song fills you with determination

The one time I shifted was to the ruins. I was walking home from school in fall and I started walking in the crunchy leaves I close my eyes to listen to them crunch under my feet to find my self in front of a save point and purple brick walls and the smell of leaves and vines everywhere on the walls. One of my safe places I guess

That’s so cool! I think my first experience “shifting” (idk if I was really shifting) I was in te mettaton’s hotel during the scene we have a “date” with sans. I’m not so sure, since the only thing I remember is that I was on a date. Maybe it was undyne’s and alphy’s date.

There are quite a few theories about multiverses (for example, one by Stephen Hawking, I recommend you read it a bit), which support the scientific possibility of the existence of different realities and the possibility of traveling between them. There are other related theories as well. If I remember correctly, quantum mechanics and string theory get involved a bit, but I'm not entirely sure right now. Well, anyway, I recommend you do some research on the subject (although there are not many sources of reliable information, so you can ask me if you have any questions), and maybe try for yourself to see how real it is. By the way, I apologize for the bad English, it is difficult to know to what extent you write well with the translator.

@@auriatorres7652 That's okay!! It's still progress! You've proven that you're able to calm your subconscious enough to focus on where you want to be. Sometimes it takes a year or more of practicing until someone's first successful shift, and that's ok.

Undertale was the best thing ever and the best part is that it even helped me find a new aesthetic just by one song? It was literally just the best thing with the best AUs,characters,and plot! This game was definitely meant to exist!

When i was 10, Undertale has 3 years old, i know it was kinda late, but after 4 years of watching everything is similiar to Undertale, i feel so good and the multiverse is so big, Thanks Toby!

This playlist makes me think of something. The way that the music is reverbed it remainders me of a massive hall where a massive party is being held. People happily dancing in bigger outfits (I’m talking like georgian Britain fashion) and sipping wine, talking to friends and having a nice time. It reminds me that the world can still be happy sometimes. There is a large fire in one corner, bringing a cosy atmosphere. It feels to me like the end scene of a video game.

This is so perfect- Imma try shifting with this uvu Also, THIS ANIMATION IS SO CUTE LIKE WHAT- I shall update on what happened :D Oh wow I completely forgot about this lol- ended up not attempting cause family came over so I spent time with them I shift tonight tho uvu let’s do this!

i have no idea how to start this so, sometimes i get reaaaallly anxious about some stuff. sometimes it's a big problem, sometimes it's just something that my brain made up for some reason(rn it's the second one) and undertale music playlists help me sleep when i am anxious! including this one maybe it's because of those theta waves or whatever, but this playlist just feels.. a bit- hypnotizing, I'd say i don't know why but this one just stands out out of others playlists I've listened to anyways, i dont know what will this comment look like(feels like a mess as I'm writing this tbh), but just want to thank the creator of this video, whoever or wherever they are :3

I have had a lucid dream once in my life I think and I was lucid in a dream for a very short time once

Shifting in theory is cool and all, but even if it was real (with proof and sh*t in later years), I probably wouldn't believe it still. It just sounds surreal. Anyways, The music is so damn nostalgic/relaxing. I played Undertale in 2016 (don't remember which month), around 1 year later than the release date. It literally changed my life (both positive [pacifist] and negative [genocide] ways).

I believe there's probably a lot about the universe we don't understand that well, and considering I'm agnostic (neither believe god is real or fake), I just assume this weird stuff with "shifting" is probably over exaggerated at best and pseudo-science at worse. I don't trust the CIA as a source lol, they definitely don't have a reason to share with us _everything_ they discovered in those experiments, if they were even real. The moment somebody convinces me shifting is "real," they better be from another reality and able to use telekinesis in front of my very eyes before I believe them. It also just sounds like lucid dreaming, which you can comfortably say "yeah, nah, i'm not moving to another reality" because it turns out your subconscious mind still has a measure of control over the dreams themselves. I remember a video of someone reviewing this guy a hundred-ish years ago who researched lucid dreaming, and noted the fact there was absolutely nothing he could do to purposefully or accidentally "hurt" himself even while lucid dreaming. I'd try to get a link to that, but it was a good year ago at least when I watched it. That being said, if the legends of cultists taking shrooms and hallucinating being in the same "alternate reality" together are to be somehow believed, then you could say there's a _possibility_ that there's some weird mind 'magic' we don't understand yet.

@@fransiscaregitacahyani3465 Well what I atleast can tell here Sans and Papyrus looked close to rl skeletons but distinctive enough to recognize them who's who by their appearence, they and other like Toriel and Asgore and Toriel and Aslphys look much like their in-game characters-designs but more 3d and realistic. Toriel and Asgore had very soft fur and Undyne's skin felt like that of an real fish, it was such an exciting experience meeting those characters.

It didn’t shift me to undertale but ATLA for some reason 🤣 At least it’s safe to say it’s effective for shifting!

This game was such a big part of my childhood that I nearly start crying every time I hear the music- ESPECIALLY the theme of Toriel's house. I want to relive finding the game for the first time all over again. Watching every KZreadr play it, the AU's, the art, the community, the daydreams, it's all so comforting. It's crazy how a game has made me feel this way. Toby deserves all the awards yo.
