Understanding HDCP - How to stay Compliant

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection is a form of digital copy protection developed by Intel Corporation to prevent copying of digital audio and video content as it travels across connections. Types of connections include DisplayPort, Digital Visual Interface, and High-Definition Multimedia Interface, as well as less popular or now deprecated protocols like Gigabit Video Interface and Unified Display Interface.

Yes agreed you have a Great voice. I am currently having an issue with my Roku Ultra. My Samsung TV is new and is 1080p. My cable is upgraded to 4K. I am not and no intention of copying any content. I still get this Damn Error Hdcp message. I believe it is a Roku issue. I am currently back and forth messaging them. We will see. Thanks for the video.

Really well done video. Does anyone know ; if I make my own 4k content, will these HDCP compliant devices refuse to play it? And does DHCP trash any hopes of playing purchased 4k content on my computer? Or are computer makers adding compliance to newer computers

This happens on my Roku from time to time. What Roku do you have, are you using the cable they sent (doubt it matters). Usually I power off and on (unplug) or go to the Restart in the Roku System menu.
