    @@sleepyjoe4529 Well, this is a much much larger drones than the ones being used in Ukraine-Russian war and see the amount of damages it made to all their tanks. Now imagine these underwater drones are highly stealthy and carried huge amount of explosive in its belly, I doubted any warship out there can handle well on one of these kamikaze if not a dozen of it.

    An essential component of protecting their sea lane approaches. The PLA (N) identified the submarine protection issue as a key area for urgent development, to address the risks posed by principally the US's submarine assets. China has had a decent range of autonomous submersible drones for quite a while now, and the enhancement of autonomous, "swarm" sonar assets is hardly surprising. It is relevant that the Harbin Institute is also VERY involved in the Chinese DUV programme to replace the ASML Products, currently subject to restriction by US dictate, so they obviously have a very wide capability.

    Ah now this is the video I've been waiting for. Honestly, the PLAN is not as far along as I had expected. The idea of having a smart torpedo strapped to a UAV and dropped like a torpedo bomber is brilliant. I imagine it would work well against surface ships. The UAV can fly extremely low to the surf and drop the torpedo at the last possible moment.

    I suspect there are recharge stations undersea miles from their SCS island bases. An underwater power cable from the island to a station where the subs routinely recharge at the bottom of the sea. Unmanned subs could patrol or simply arrive at a location and monitor for a month while stationary before returning for a recharge.

    There has been a ground breaking technology breakthrough in nuclear batteries in China. These nuclear batteries are the size of a half dollar. And can be used from pace makers to smartphones and more. For instance you could have one of these in a smartphone and never have to recharge your phone. So imagine what this breakthrough could do for these UUVs or UAVs. And this nuclear battery is based on nickle radiation decay process. Stacking these batteries gives them a much longer and more electrical output. But if the Chinese have figured out a way to minimize nuclear batteries with Nickel. Then there are other isotopes with nuclear radiation decay.

    Bearing in mind the size of some of the smaller Chinese UUV's, especially those designed for acoustic surveillance, would it not be at least possible that the "Extra-Large UUV" might carry these in the tubes rather than torpedoes? It would certainly eliminate the "Friendly-Fire" risk, and mean that the "mother sub" could deploy their own sonar UUV swarm, possibly using active sonar, since the loss of one such drone UUV would be far less of an issue, especially since they might be regarded as "disposable assets"?

  • @ex0duzz

    Yeh.. if it's technologically possible and it's beneficial/increases China's safety or offensive capabilities, China will have it since money isn't an issue for China in that regard when compared to other smaller or poorer countries. Even if China is not as technologically advanced as say, USA in terms of acoustic signatures and hiding them, China will make up for that in other ways, like having strategy or numbers. Just like having A2AD strategy and having longer standoff range missiles to counter usas carriers which are more advanced and more numerous. But in terms of drones and autonomous or remote systems, like drone swarm tech, I don't think China is behind USA or anyone at all, and if anything they are probably leading the world in that regard. I base this off china dominating the civilian drone tech market. Like DJI having 80% of the civilian drone market alone, and even USA, Russia, Ukraine militaries all using Chinese drone tech. Not just for the air, but even for land based systems. Like spot the dog type drones. The US Marines posted a video of them training using a Chinese off the shelf drone instead of using Boston dynamics spot drones. And all us military and law enforcement and fire fighters all using dji drones.. If China allows such systems to be exported and used even by USA and China's rivals, I assume that China has even better systems for themselves and that they can counter usa or others if they were to use them against China. Couple these small drone systems with chinas bigger systems, like hypersonic glide missiles and rockets, and the insane success of China's space program, like doing a 3 in 1 mission of sending an orbiter, lander, and drone on Mars in one mission and their first ever attempt, landing drone on far side of the moon, succeeding at moon sample return mission, succeeding with their own space station missions, having successful anti satellites missiles etc.. then we also have remote wirelessly technologies like 5g/6g and others. China is the world leader in this tech with Huawei and others, and not just the tech, but applying the tech to real world uses, like in factories and various industries, electric and autonomous driving, etc etc. USA doesn't even have this tech and is reliant on other countries, Huawei dominates networking and wireless tech in the world, that's why USA tried their hardest to destroy Huawei. All the above factors added up leads me to think that China is at minimum on par with usa, or likely is leading USA when it comes to autonomous or remote/wireless tech and systems ALREADY.

  • @ex0duzz

    @ex0duzz

    4 ай бұрын

    Another factor that might apply is the maneuverable hypersonic tech and China supposedly having worked out how to beat the plasma shielding at hypersonic speeds to allow them to send and receive signals. If China can do that and USA can't, then I think China can also do things underwater that USA can't. same. With far side of the moon mission, they created relay stations where needed and completed the mission no worries. China can also do such things underwater to extend their range. I wouldn't be surprised if they have permanent relay and detection stations all over south and east China seas. It would be easy for China to do since they are there 24/7, unlike USA or others USA has probably never had the need to do these things before, or the technology wasn't there yet like in the 70/80s before China got strong. These days China is too strong for them to do it on a massive scale without China knowing. Like setting up a massive underwater satellite/sensor constellation like SpaceX has done in space.

    @@ex0duzzchina already leads in wireless communication, automation, and drone tech that's foe sure. Be it civilian or military. They already lead in missile tech for a while already. Their anti air defense systems are also superior to US's(patriot system is cavemen tech compared to HQ system). China is already too much for the US Navy and Air Force. That's why they only resorted to trade war coz they can't dare a hot war😂. Had China been militarily weak like Iraq, invasion would've already happened a long time ago.

    It seems that China's modernization efforts, particularly in developing Anti-Access/Area Denial (A2/AD) strategies. It shows a strategic evolution that is deeply rooted in their historical context that they were once a weak agrarian nation that has always braced for asymmetric engagement against more formidable enemies. That mindset is still very active and endured despite its current economic and military advancements. Their approach is evident in their heavy investment in saturation and decoy technologies, aiming to offset their stealth capabilities' limitations. They are developing domestic threat emitters that replicate the signatures of missiles, aircraft, and now submarines, and deploying low-orbit "spoofers" designed to mislead radar operators with phantom barrages, China is reinforcing its A2/AD framework. Based on what they are doing we can see that this strategic continuity, from an anticipation of asymmetrical conflict to the leveraging of unconventional tactics within a modernized military, highlights China's commitment to enhancing its military effectiveness while staying true to its historical strategic inclinations.

    nah, many people are surprised how China can reach such a level from aweak agrarian nation, but you don't know or deliberately ignore that China is the only one millennium-level superpower on the planet. Five thousand years of wisdom has taken decades to rise from the bottom of the human pyramid to returning to the throne is not too fast, just fine(if the CPC had not made several major decision-making mistakes, it could have been faster, but it is still the only Chinese political party after the collapse of the qing dynasty that has the ability to rule the whole of China). The wisdom and legacy left by five thousand years of ancestors and the Chinese people's ability to endure hardships and stand hard work have made the country's national strength surpass 192 countries even though it is still in the developing stage. Strategies and tactics more simpler. Strategies and tactics all over the world copy Sun Tzu's Art of War. Even mao who initiated the Cultural Revolution was a loyal user. western-style weapons are just a transition for PRC to make up for the military failure of the late qing dynasty. When China returned to the throne and when it begins to regain its past national strength, the weapons that now look like american style weapons will sooner or later be eliminated by the PLA like the soviet style weapons.

    @@hjhghj462 Using China's 5000 years without regards to their actual history of division, dynastic rules, and events that decimated their position in the world is extremely disingenuous. China went through revolutions after revolutions, suffered a catastrophic war with Japan, near occupation of foreign political exploitations, civil war and a political purge. China was a shell of a nation, an agrarian nation weaker than post-war vietnam until their reforms in 1990s. They went from an agrarian society to a modernized regional economic powerhouse in just 40 years. To marginalize that is asinine.

    Very Briefed Snd Summerized Ideas : Yes it could sneak near vital enemy naval assets, where in deep waters all naval assets uses sonars as main detection mean, and those🦈 shape unmanned submarine it could mask it's signature by replicate the🦈 motions under water and by equipping it with electronic warfare devices it could duplicating the electromagnetic signature of the🦈, in case of a war the People Liberation Army Naval Forces (PLANF) could launching thousands of those submarine's to achieve set of goal's for example:1- it could dismantle most of the underwater hydrophone microphone's networks allowing friendly forces submarines to pass choke points and most of the bottoms of the seas and oceans are covered with hydrophone networks, 2-sneaking to conduct a reconnaissance and surveillance missions especially inside enemy shore's and monitoring the activities inside main sea ports and naval bases and transmitting real intelligence images and data's, 3-it could approaches the enemy naval assets especially the high value asset's secretly with the aim of conducting reconnaissance, surveillance & monitoring missions or attacking them when utilizing these submarines as under water suicide drone's, again with the weight's ranging from few hounded to few tons of the good candidates to be duplicated as sharks to be as it could sail under or near the aircraft carriers of the so called united states or the english island of antichrist and either... technically some sharks length are 14 meters long, with an average length of 4 meters, and with weights depending on their types but the good candidate's could ranges from few hundreds kgs to a few tons make them suitable for masquerade underwater unmanned submarine regarding the propelling system or the engine: 1-providing them with electric motors may give them the ability to sail for a few hundreds of kilometers depends on the speed and the type of batteries the advantages it will be very quite especially at lower speed's, 2-equipping them with small electro-diesel engine with Air-independent propulsion (AIP) system will give it few weeks worth of continues sailing in deep dark waters without the needs to surface, and when needs it could sail near the surface, extending a small pipe but the underwater endurance depends on several factors including but not limited to: the batteries size, its charging capacity or the amount of kws, and the speed of the submarine, providing them with nuclear reactors will give them endless sailing capabilities, but the weak point is the possibility of detecting it underwater based on the thermal signature of the nuclear reactor, as the possibility of having an underwater network of infrared sensors to detect enemy nuclear-powered submarines based on capturing the thermal signatures of nuclear reactors، however, the downside here is the body of the shark submarine is smaller than nuclear submarine and its hull still lacks the necessary thickness to contain the high thermal signature of the nuclear reactor, even if its a unmanned midget submarine and the nuclear reactor is small, but I think the thermal signature of the nuclear reactor still very high especially when generally the contrasts In the extreme differences in temperatures, which will multiply thermal and infrared signatures under oceans waters 🌊are much higher than on the surface... While there is no needs to masking or obscuring the acoustic signature generated from the operating the water pumps necessary to cool the reactor cores in the end all fish's opens its mouth regularly and using it's respiratory system which based on continuous opening and closing of the gills, although the mouth would be sufficient enough to cool the core of the reactor but on the other hand it will increase the disclosure of the heat or infrared signature of the reactor...
