Drone tech is disruptive. The recent conflict near Turkey demonstrated the disruption. The cost effectiveness , in procurement, maintenance, training, deployment and logistics mean that all conflicts going forward will be dominated by drone tech. For aircraft , removing the limitations of the pilot greatly increases the capabilities of a platform. A lot of weight, space and air craft specifications go into keeping the human alive. The same is true for submarines. Flying drones off ships reduces the need for huge flight decks and the number of personal to service aircraft. Deploying ships with 20 to 30 attack drones, could see fast attack carriers the size of frigates or no carrier ships and drones working from land bases that can be setup in hours.

In fact, an important reason why China is vigorously developing drones is that it lacks enough pilots. Unlike the United States, where there is a wide range of private aircraft, the Chinese do not have a similar history. So drones can help the Chinese get around this shortcoming. China's industrial capacity is relatively strong (industrial output equivalent to the United States + Germany + Japan), so a mass-produced drone, combined with China's developing artificial intelligence technology, would be an excellent overtaking.

The US is the only western military force that got a military budget over 2%. Japan, sk, EU are close to doubling its military spending this will impossible for china to overtake. The combined forces of the EU, US, Commonwealth, japan, south korea and taiwan. Maybe china might surpass the US in the future but I highly doubt china will surpass that combined force even with russia and iran. Russia mobilized all those nations after the invasion of ukrain. Have you been to a show called: before? My best friend saw Shen Yun before pandemic, she told me this was the first time she was moved to tears in a stage live show, So finally, I went to see Shen Yun with my whole family two months ago, I cried also---, What a great show! Actually I hadn’t believed a dance show would touch her heart so deeply until I watched it in real: brave, hope, warm, encouragement, energy, responsibility---, it’s hard to describe how I benefit from this two-hour show, but one thing I am sure is I won’t be beaten down no matter how difficult in the future life, I will never give up!

You can consider Korea and Afghanistan too. And no, US will not fight China in a military conflict. Despite all tough talk on both sides. China is not the usual target for america's military power (3rd world countries with no real military capacity) China is already to big to be enganged in a military conflict by anyone. And remenber that China has defeated US forces in a very important battle in the Korean War and thus keept the north Korea out of reach for Uncle SAM (China has made a movie about this recently and is a big hit in some countries of Asia). And China was a very poor country back on those days. Now it is different. Only if absolutly necessary a matter of life or death for the US we will see a direct confrontation and that does not include Taiwan. Let alone the fact that China is crucial partner for US economy like it or not and also for Europe and most countries in the world to be correct. China is not looking for a war either. They have a very clear strategy: to become the richest country in the world and a war is the last thing they need. No, no war in the horizon but the military indutrial complex is happy as never before.

I hope there won't be a war between China and the US. The US can drop its aggressive strategy and adapt to China's rise. The differences in underlying logic between the East and the West cause a lot of misunderstandings. China is an agricultural civilization and wants a peaceful environment and fair competition. Do not provoke us. The West is a pirate civilization and wants to plunder and colonize. Although the two cultures are difficult to understand, hope they try their best to live in peace without interfering with each other.
