I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

Plot twist! The beavers have their own channel where they go around looking for open culverts that need to be clogged. Sometimes they'll put up a trail camera to see if they can catch the human that comes around during the day. They know it's futile, the human will just come by and unclog it again, but if they do a good enough job, maybe it'll be enough to keep the human busy for a few hours.

Very interesting post. Saw the moose, heron, bobcat and beaver. Think bobcat was hoping for a beaver snack? Always so beautiful the areas you visit. Really enjoy your adventures. Nice place for a dip too. Can't forget the moose dropping culvert. 😅😂🤣😳🤔🤭. Stay safe and take care. Fish did eat some of those dehydrated apples anyway. Probably the beaver if he found any? ♥️🦫♥️

I agree. The new rake is more specific, heavier duty.
It’s really amazing how determined these beavers are to keeping their homes from being destroyed! If wasn’t for Post 10, the northeast would be a new flood plain!! Keep up the awesome work my good friend, you truly deserve more than you’ll ever know!

Poor wee Beavers just beavering away building their wee homes for their families and we humans go in and just pull them down. It's nice to know when they are captured they are put somewhere they can thrive. I understand why it needs to be done and I have to say you do a very good job. Keep well and be careful please, some of those currents look dangerous.xx

We understand better how important beavers are to the environment. Just have to figure out the best ways to live and work in harmony with them. So that we can have our roads and they can have their.....beaver stuff.
Good to see that culvert blasting away. Could actually see the water level start to drop.
Anyone remember when Post 10 unclogged city streets? Those were the days seeing cars trying to navigate thru the flood, driving on sidewalks, police closing the roads, etc. Who does that now since Post 10 is annoying the beavers? I regret suggesting to Post 10 to unclog beaver dams long ago. Ah - the good ol' days.

My favorite Post 10 phrases: "wow everyone look at..." "stinky gas bubbles" "let's get the rake" "beavers have done it again" "spider friends" and of course "woooooo!"
Loved this one! Sorry you had to work so hard and got stinky! Watching that busy beaver work to refill the culvert was something else! and the bobcat added the icing to the cake. Thanks a lot!
I just learned so much about beavers! Here in Kansas where our trees are not super plentiful, the beavers can wreak havoc on a good stand of woods that also provides dry habitat for deer, pheasant and other game. They aren't typically seen as beneficial here for that reason. I appreciate your knowledge and conservancy mindset! Lol, and I ended up here from a random drain cleaning video! New subscriber now!

Love to see the Beavers in action as you had in this video. They are indeed remarkable animals . They are so industrious in what they do. Great to see nature in action.

Hey post, I put a request in at the state level to get you approved to use TNT. The proper license and permits should be arriving soon and I'll send them over to you. It should make your job a little quicker and more fun! Love the videos man. I wish I had your level of enthusiasm. You help many of us ro escape our mundane lives with each video you upload. Keep being you and never change!

Goodness gracious. If you think backhoes damage culverts, just wait to observe what TNT will do. OTOH if TNT knocks out beavers the same way it does fish, relocation would be greatly simplified.
So glad to see your videos are still up and going. So much growth from when you only cleared street drains blocked with sticks. Really happy to see you're broadening your horizons

What a really great job again. So glad you took the extra effort to keep the cameras running so we can see the beavers at work. Thanks for your efforts in capturing the beaver's work and you taking it down. Be safe.
I now have a better understanding of the simile "busy as a beaver." Thank you.
Nice footage on the trailcam this time, that was lucky. Getting the bobcat footage was pretty cool too.
Excellent work! You just couldn't resist that second culvert could you? You work so hard. And it's so satisfying!
Your such a good person. I respect your hard work. I could never work this hard. So thank you for these videos and for trying to be a helpful person. I have never thought about or cared about culverts before I found your channel but your joy and spirit throughout these videos makes me love the process and I get so excited when you post new videos. Stay safe! And thank you for what you do!
It was fun to see the parallels between the two videos honestly
Thank you! Perfect timing, I needed something relaxing and positive to watch. Beautiful catch of the bird watching the beavers.
I was hoping you would try to partially clear each side of the plastic culvert in case the beavers blocked the concrete one again and the pressure washed out what was left in the middle of the plastic. Glad to see you made the attempt, it's fun to see the rake go so far in :) We may be doing nothing at all and wanting you to do everything, but we love you for it. We need to invent some type of super robust telescopic rake handle.
I love it when you do a time lapse at the end of the video of the water coming out of the culvert as you unblock it please keep doing that it's very satisfying
From a trickle to blasting. I love watching camera 2. So much fun. Also neat actually seeing a beaver in the daytime. Ouch! Hope your hand is ok.
I've had a good Sunday catching up on the recent uploads and now I'm finishing it off watching this and eating my hot pockets. Hope your weekend was good Post thanks for your efforts as always👍👍👍also want to say i always really like your intros on these middle of nowhere type of uncloggings, driving out early in the morning and catching wildlife and morning fog etc, it's very peaceful and pretty
Randomly came across ur channel and did about a 3 hour binge!! Lol such a cool down to earth dude, keep up all the good things you do!!
Beavers are amazing! I love how much respect you have for them

I know he does it to sync the cameras, but I like to think of it as his battlecry before he engages the beavers. His screams of retreat from the beavers are even more enjoyable.
Great video. That rake is amazing. I have had rake heads come off with far less pulling.
This was the best trail cam footage by far! Keep it up!
I like it when you revisit and finish. Thank you for getting that second culvert! I was hoping you would.

Why is he jamming debris in the pipe instead of pulling it out? Seems counter productive ?
Love this! The unclogging was great and seeing the beaver during the day & at night, plus the bobcat was amazing.
That had to be one biggest clogs I have seen! Great job! Thanks for another terrific video! Stay safe and stay healthy!
Was waiting for that beaver to tap you on the shoulder and say “ what do you think you’re doing bud?”
How awesome was that! A really interesting culvert and great beaver video. Thanks posty!
Another great video, Post! I thought you fell into the water on the second culvert, but no splash and dry shirt. (Or did I totally miss it?) I am glad you have the second camera as I have been binge watching your old videos. (Even making fries and a time capsule) Congratulations on getting the beavers on film! Keep up your great work!

I just added the footage of me taking a bath since it was the same location but that was me returning to the location just to take a bath from a very dirty job right down the street
Great footage, what remarkable animals they are.
Good to see you got the rake for the second pipe. While you were inspecting I was saying "grab the rake!"
Remarkable young man. I've been watching you from Ireland for a while. Think I may be developing my first addiction. Not bad for an 80yr old. Keep up the good work. 👍
that Bobcat was probably in there looking for some dinner.
Great work and footage Post10. Those beavers are so clever. Must have been a stinky experience with the floating poop yuk! Love watching the trail camera footage. Keep up the good work.👍
I met a young woman from Maine at an event here in Wellington/NZ a few days ago, and hearing "Maine" straight away reminded me of this here channel 😀 So I told her about it and also with some excitement - and she just could not understand why anyone would watch videos about beaver dams being dismantled and culverts getting unblocked! 😆
Nice unclogging! Definitely was tougher than it looked
The commentary in the last minute is extremely important. Thanks for that.
I made a 20 ft push pole from 4 lengths of 3/4" black pip pipe with couplers and a 3" flange at one end. Made it 20ft long at the most. I just fimrly hand tightened the unions so that I could break it down when done. Used to to push an impacted culvert full of grass clippings (low water flow allowed it to clog up). Yes, it's heavy, but durable.

We used it once or twice a Month depending on the Rain we got, These were Retention ponds that got a lot of water when rain from up in the higher lands came through, We left the Pipe in the Colvert but disconnected the Blade off the end of it.
Finally managed to get a Beaver construction on camera 🎉 The Heron "overwatching" their work and the Bobcat "inspecting" it at night is a funny sight 😄

Dude, you have to remove causes clogging am I right.
Whenever post throws the rake aside and it falls in the water I'm like... O.O
Great video super shot’s of Beavers. Thanks. Chris from England.
That was cool seeing that bobcat going for a swim. Those 2 beavers 🦫looked like they worked all night to plug up that culvert again.
Complimenti fai sempre un buon lavoro!!!
All I can think of with that log was “Goggles Post!” I was so scared for you when it snapped! Excellent work as always!!!❤❤❤
Your enthusiasm is so infectious!
I will forever miss those videos of you unclogging storm drains in the busy streets which is what drew me to your channel. Please don't forget to continue videoing those from time to time. I love those. Also that truck that came past is what I call Transformer Trucks. I don't know what they actually are called tho
I was just wondering if, on that smaller culvert, you had been able to block it off with a piece of plywood, would that have allowed a buildup of pressure large enough to sweep some of the stuff in the middle out once the plywood was removed?
@post.10
Жыл бұрын
It's possible I did that once before, use the piece of wood to block it and it was actually successful
I work at a boat launch with a culvert right next to it where the stream goes under the road, and this exact thing happened today. The road crew was there all morning clearing out sticks and trees that the beavers have been putting in there over the past few weeks. They put some metal grates over the upstream end to try to keep it from happening again
I get so excited when you determine the clog can be removed after assuming it can't,puts a smile on my face everytime
Holy crap your a machine!!! Not even expecting a video and here it is. Anyone wager a guess how many hours a week he's pushing? I reckon plus 70
Good work dude, you're really helping communities
How cool you caught beavers and a bobcat just a great cam shot 😀
Time spent with love ones this week 2hr 14 min time spent watching Post10 this week 25 hr 17 min and counting. If only I didn't waste time in my loved ones
Thanks for sharing your time with all of us very informative
I love how there’s just the sound of running water and your hard work!
two dams in one video awesome :D at the second covert (plastic), I don't know if pushing the stuff through was the right move I feel it would clog because the dam was still too tangled. good work as usual.
This was a GREAT video! Thank you!
That was some solid Beaver Engineering there Post! You must be on the Beaver Most Wanted list by now. I would recomend some Kevlar Chest Waders at this point. I have no clue why these vids are so satisfying. KBO
Wow! Those little stinkers! I love watching them clog it again even tho we also don’t want them clogged, it’s just funny to see them working away. Bob cat was an exciting surprise
Loved the sped-up clips of the water flowing at the end.
Bobcat, beavers and a heron! Great trail cam catches!👍🏼😊
Satisfying footage, Flowbro!
Love watching just how determined you are at getting your job done ✔️ 👍 So young& a really great work ethic!!!!
Brilliant. Love it. Many thanks.
Great beaver shots. It's been a while since we saw any, but this was good to see
That was great 👍Reminds me of when I lived in northern Ontario Up at a Fishing lodge on West arm of Lake Nippissing. Beautiful Country up there, Could ride a bike for miles through the woods on that Granite and moss. Love all your content. 👍
That was really interesting watching this one my dear for the beavers and the bobcat enjoyed it very much thanks for sharing you have a great day hugs
Love your videos, keep em coming!!
Another job well done !
love your stuff keep up on the great vid's like the camper van
Hi Post10!! I know the beavers are naughty making all those dams, but I can't help but love them! Anyway, if they didn't make the dams, we wouldn't get to see you, would we! Keep up the good work, as usual, I love your videos, and, oh! That accent! 😍😍😍
Glad to have you doing this, Fun to watch, too.
One of your best videos ever ❤❤
Satisfying and informative as always. Stay well, post 10.
Absolutely love watching your videos what you is an amazing gesture to keeping roads open and also protecting the beautiful open areas of here wildlife live
Enjoyed watching the video 😊
If that beaver has a smart phone, he knows it was you.
Good video man. I really enjoyed it.
❤ all your work, i think I've watched every one of your videos! keep up the good work, watching from England 👍
The first culvert you worked on came back to bite you. Ninety nine per cent of what you pulled out with the rake and then allowed to flow back in never came out thru the outlet. It let the water level drop but just increased the thickness of the clog without the mud further back in the culvert pipe.
Great video! Thanks!
17:17 "nothing yet, but they're getting ready". One of the few people that can make me laugh often.
A little glimpse of a bobcat, just beautiful.
good job. nice work. keep safe..
Just be aware that water where beaver live most often is contaminated with guardia. .. a pretty nasty thing to get. A parasite I believe. Don't really want to dunk your head in it. Great videos.... stay safe. 🙏
very satisfying seeing the water level even out, good stuff, postie
And "petrified trees" makes me think of trees with frightened faces 😄 And apart from that bobcat, there also was a bird standing on top of the culvert at the beginning of the trail camera footage (possibly a heron) supervising the beaver's labour 😁
Dave and Chuck the Freak out of Detroit, also on in Boston, talked about you a couple of weeks ago my wife can't figure out why I love your vids. I guess it has to do with instant gratification keep it up Post.
Great video again my friend. Those beavers work hard, and so do you..
Finally I get to see some beavers at work. I know I have watched at least 50 of your videos hoping to see some beavers at work. You even got a bob cat taking a swim bonus material.
Back from vacation and the first thing I checked was new videos posted!!!!
Love your videos. Very relaxing. I keep watching your back. Lol
