Yes, these blockades not only flood the fields, but also destroy the channels of these streams. This is where the fields have survived, thanks to the topography. But in more lowland areas, sometimes entire stretches of fields are flooded.

The other culvert one the right didn’t seem to be discharging much. Debris inside plugging it?

I think I saw stuff in it indeed but hoped that the big body of water what comes loose when removing that dam that it would rinse it through but you are right, it doesn't seem to work so fine and well as the other one.. Edit, at 1:32 you can see through the right side but not through the left culvert.

Yes, it was clogged up a long time ago, so we didn't touch it.
What a couple of greedy beavers are these one's, to block 2 sides and keep all that water to themselves! 😉😜😁 Great work you 2, keep those water ways nice and tidy Ánd those Beavers in check! 👌😎
