Hello,
Beaver dam has collapsed there. Very satisfying to watch it even myself. It was one of the most interesting videos I've ever made! This dam collapsed already for the 3rd time :)

Opened KZread to an immediate Mantas video. Yeah! Edit: that was a huge rush of water!
Greetings from the BIG SKY. That thing flat collapsed on you. Glad to see you 'read' the event right. That's what makes a good water man. Reading the water.
Rookie beaver engineers built that one lol😂😂😂😂
Hi from South Central Illinois USA. The drone shots today really showed the beavers intricate (highways) running all up n down stream, going into holes in the bank, up on the bank ,etc. Really Kewl!
The cloud reflections in the water were very cool
Big beaver dams don't appear overnight. It would be interesting to look around and find some under construction to show us how the dams get built. Maybe even an overnight time lapse?
Here in Montana we have a 'chinook' that I've seen go from 55 below zero (fahrenheit) to 44 above zero in seconds. It's like a slap in the face.
We have seen videos where the beavers float their materials downstream, but not where they carry materials overland, so what would happen if you dug a deep enough channel (even if very narrow) to drain ALL the water near the dam SITE ? Would a perhaps 3 inch trickle be enough for the beavers to rebuild ? Or would they build further upstream with deeper water?
Another fine dismantling today. Great water flow. Your the best, Mantas! See you on the next. Cheers Mantas! 😊
Great Job Mantas, it gave way really fast to say the least. Love the video as always,Well done as always.David Utah,USA.♥♥♥.
They who have never dealt with beaver dams don't know crap. Don't worry about what others say or think. Mantes the dam destroyer. You keep doing you buddy, you do it very well.
GOOD JOB, KEEP SAFE..
It’s like a new kind of Jenga game.
Another nice one Ken ,ya really have to be careful standing on the down side of a large amount of water like that there is a lot of force behind it ,super job
We have been having many large degrees of changes in our temperature here in Texas, this Spring also. Within days the weather changes 40 plus degrees within 24 hours on a regular basis this year. I enjoyed the video Ken.

Great drone video at the end! The crystal clear reflections of the clouds and blue sky above really add something to it 👍
Hello Mantas Your temperature is slowly rising and ours is slowly getting colder Beautiful sunny day where you are and also beautiful sunny here Stay safe 🦘❤️❤️❤️
Wow, you did a great job on that one.👍😎
Love seeing them collapse , very cool . 😎
Nice job! I also had been wondering about piles of old sticks.. beavers arent big on recycling then. 😅
Because a dam near my home is an affont to my authority. 😆😆😆
Hey Papa. it is 4:10 pm now in Montreal. We are sitting at (+8c) with grey skies and a little rain. It did not get above +10 today.
Cool video and camera placement! ❤
Please be careful. And another job well done!
👍
Another great job. Drone shoot great to
Nice job Mantas, you moved out of the way just in time. A lot of water and wood moved very quickly! Well done.
Awesome video , very beautiful country, thank you🌼🌼🌼🌸🌸🌸🌺🌺🌺🦋🦋🦋💫✨I enjoyed it 😊😊😊
Great video. Stay safe out there.

@@Kenislovas Greetings from the BIG SKY.
Nice drone footage!
Awesome
Wow that water drained quickly. How do you keep your feet warm?😮

The waders offer some degree os insulation, and keeping active stops the extremities from cooling too much.

Another great one. I was a bit surprised to see how much had drained! Liked the drone footage and the music. Take care 👍👍👏👏🏴🏴
Hi, today at 830am, it's 23°c. We start looking for sweatshirts around 22°c in Australia because we consider it quite cool
Well done👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅✅✅✅✅
That looked like a trap.
I’ve always wondered, when you break a dam do you remove and destroy the wood from it or leave it behind?
@Kenislovas
3 күн бұрын
I leave it there. Beavers won't use it anymore in most cases.
They won't use dry sticks 1 because they float 2 because they eat the batk of fresh sticks and then use the sticks to build😊
told you the beavers are out to get you!
good job
Maybe you could have had the full dam down in the 30 mins you let it drain😂😂
well done!! great video!
Impressive 😮
Great video 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Thanks!

Thank You David!
so last night was below freezing. sometimes people don't listen to the fact that beavers will only reuse material if they cannot get fresh.
Could you open a little more on the sides each time you reopen the dam? From the drone footage, the canals used to be much wider than they are now.

Maybe in this place would be useful, because next time collapse could be even bigger :)
Wow that area is getting full of the cut wood. There needs to be a fire to get rid of it all. I am sure you can not do that !
Hello Ken, nice work and also the drone is alway nice to, how many km, min is this dam from your home?

I wish you would just take down the full dam😢

Well, each time I am taking more and more from it.
Can you dry the sticks out for fire wood.
@Kenislovas
Жыл бұрын
I can, but I don't have where to use it. Many of our grandpas living in villages, so they have firewoods more than enough :)
Coolbeens
Why don’t you open it all the way across? Why only a small section? It seems to me it would be way more effective and less likely they would rebuild it.

It doesn't matter it opened big section or small. Small even is worse to rebuild for the beavers.

Trap all the beaver out first. They can't rebuild if they aren't there.
Please leave the gaping face out of your thumbnails. It makes the videos not look serious anymore.
