About my work - I remove beaver dams when I receive an order from a state organization.
I do not choose which dam to remove. It is decided by officials at the request of nearby residents. Each dam is assessed in advance if it can and if should be dismantled.
Removing the dam is not a threat to beavers. I do not remove their houses - lodges.
Dams are removed only in places where beavers cause damage, for example by flooding nearby fields, flooding the basements of nearby houses, or when the stream on which beavers built their dam is degraded.
Even though beavers are very invasive animals, they are under strict protection in our country.
I personally like all animals, so beavers are fine too.

You guys should start an extreme beaver damage channel, only take on the worst sites, make for great videos :)

He doesn’t need a thumb because you can tell he is very skilled at what he does. He is very precise. On the movements of the bucket. He does better than most operators that have a thumb 😂

That really doesn’t look like a beaver dam, nor was it blocking the water. Just looks like a bunch of debris that got stuck. Great work cleaning it out though.

This dam had a massive amount of large wood in it. Great Job! Are you ever asked to clean or remove the woodpile?
Leave the materials next to the spot so the beaver can rebuild?

Beavers won't re-use the debris unless they're desperate. Since there are plenty of trees, they will use new material. It's very rare for them to re-use material.

were I live we relocate the beavers as in the state does. Then we demolish the dam's with explosives. Its a Blast. no beavers are harmed. Just an ongoing process. fast as you knock one down there building another some were else.
Debris damn! Burn what ya dig out. So when the water gets high and the debris won't float down stream and creates another debris damn.
Beavers are part of the nature and were here before you. Why not just let them be? They just want a home and to raise their kits.
