Thanks for using a chainsaw. I was really afraid you were not going to. Sometimes you need a machine and this was one of those times. Your hard work really shines.
You certainly are a hard working man! Your community is lucky to have you!

So many of us including myself see things around us that we feel need addressing and we complain about it but never do anything. If we all started doing just a little bit more to address these issues we’d be in a much better world.
I think at some point, you must be running on sheer will! I'm sitting here in the AC, with a cup of tea and watching you wore Me out. That pile up just keeps giving. Just when it looks like you've cleared it, you find More under the mud. Thank you for another Great job and video! 👍
you deserve at the very least the medal of honour for the wonderful work you have put into this culvert and the stream in general. I applaud you .

That was a Herculean project! Wow- what a difference
Nice work. As a suggestion for the culverts that you visit multiple times, it would be nice if you did a short clip show at the end showing how the culvert looked before and after each of the previous visits, as well as the current visit.

I want to add a note of explanation here because I live near the river. He mentioned tides. The lower half of the Hudson River is actually an estuary of the Atlantic Ocean, so it has 2 tides per day. The river flows mostly in eastern New York State, dividing New York and New Jersey and flowing into the ocean.

Flows into the Ocean, possible logs could be a shipping hazard?
I admire the way you handle a chain saw, you let the saw do the work, it always puzzled me why someone would make sawing motions using a machine that could do the work for you.
Ohhhh I’ve been hooked on watching this series! Great work!

Great Job Bud 👍👍The Beavers will be really annoyed now 😂😂Perfect Clearance 👍👍
My back cringed every time you lifted or pushed the heavier logs! You've done a great job! You deserve a spa day 😂
Thanks for taking us along for the final unclogging of this water stream. Those were major heavy logs. Keep us posted on future visits to this site. Much appreciated. You’re a good man. ❤

Glad to see the chain saw smaller is better easier on the body too. That answers one of my questions. Thanks
Well done, thanks to you for cleaning up the water 💧 way. The river is used for many purposes. You 😊 😃 have done a great service 👏 👍 👌 😀 😂🎉😊.
I can't help but think of the kindling and firewood that i would gladly load in a pickup and take home. Family fun by the fire with hot dogs and marshmallows!
Good for you, gloves, and more help where needed🎉🎉🎉🎉. Thank you, now I will watch.😂😂. Awesome job.
That's a lot of work, but very satisfying work I bet - I know it would be for me. Thank You for sharing.

Those were some big ole logs you cleared out. Great job 👏 🎉
the chainsaw was very useful, but muscle power was essentially needed. Maximum effort 💪💪💪you have probably removed 8 tons of debris, including your first unclogging. 👏👏👏👏
Thanks for this updated vid. That chain saw really helped you out.
Well done! You absolutely rocked this culvert! I can't wait for the next one! Stay safe! 😊

Such a hard task. Sir, as long as you take your time and think of your next step you shouldnt get injured. I respect the hard work you do. I watch a few other channels where they tear out beaver dams but never seen any of them tear out the monster tree limbs like you just demonstrated. My personal rating to you 5 stars!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
That is one old clog. Great job, brother.

It would be nice to see this site when the tide is up. Thanks
I know there are beaver's and they will stop up creeks , pounds but i never knew how bad they that they stop up things until i watched you clearing out what they did, they really made a big mess, they put every stick and tree they could find to stop up the water from going through the tunnel and you have done a great job cleaning it out, you are a very strong man man to do all that work that you did may the Lord bless you 🙏
Wow did not think of how loud it would be in the culvert with the chainsaw! Another great job on the river!👍🏽😀❤️🇺🇸

What a massive task that was. You made the best decision to drain it down a bit before you hit it with the chainsaw. Will be interesting to see how it progresses over time and to see how the flow of the river moves more mud and sticks from the mouth of the culvert.

It was really satisfying to see you do this final clearing! Wow, what a difference you have made in this whole waterway since you started filming for us (and before, I am sure). Thank you so much for making a difference. And someday, I really would like to see out over the Hudson at the end of this waterway. I am not familiar with the area at all, just curious. Hope you and the family have a wonderful weekend!

Good job. If you cut and pushed the big log. You could use water to move every thing. Would love to be there to help. Good project for sure. Oh yes i am a 75 year old woman. Raised with 5 brothers. Loved every thing they taught me.

I've found when getting rid of dam framework pieces, bucking logs to about 3-5 foot length are usually not going to cause problems farther downstream. Nice job on that "Jack-strawed" mess
Great job👍 some of that wood could make a nice fire !
even with a chainsaw that was a lot of work! Maybe I've missed it but I'd like to see the outflow part of the culvert, where all that debris is going to go.
