Removing Giant Blockage Until Culvert Gushes
I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

You could use that circular-ish board to block the flow when you’ve unblocked the end, to build up pressure and help blast out debris in or at the end of the pipe.

I saw on clog buster use multiple lengths of metal pipes (she attached as many as she needed) to a round piece of wood. She tampered the clog and helped push it out. The pipes came apart to transport it.

The best video of culvert blasting was the one that he accidentally let grass and mud go through thinking it would clog it but it just managed to push (blast) out everything at the end. Then he did it several times on purpose. It was awesome✌🏻🤍

I thought about you, Post, this past weekend and I cleared a small culvert in the mountains, one old stick that had been there a long time plus a bunch of loose debris.
I have 15 wooden bridges. One of them had an 8 inch diameter tree under it, including the root ball which was half way under the bridge. I wondered how the root could have gotten half way under the bridge. Then I realized that it was there when they built the bridge 4 years ago. I was able to cut the tree with my bow saw, it was so rotten it was like cutting butter and I was able to pull out the tree and the root ball and move it away from the stream.
We use those "Ready to rent" tags on our heavy equipment rentals here in Texas. Was probably from a CAT rental place. Maybe a mini ex or something.

With the current toss a rope through with a grapple on the end trailing. Then get the rope when it goes out the exit and pull the grapple. You’d probably break the entire thing free
Hi. You could use LED emergency beacons. They don’t use much battery. We use them on our traffic management vehicles as we have to have them on at all times on site even when the vehicle isn’t in use ie off 👍
@el_micha
10 ай бұрын
That is a very good idea. If the LEDs are only flashing they don't take much battery at all. Also it is environmentally friendly to not let the engine run all the time. And I bet LED is also brighter than regular car blinkers running on incandescent lights.
I'm surprised the beaver didn't come out to investigate the water flow. Unless they're relocated, the beaver will have that blocked back up in a day or two. Fun to watch and good work. I've busted up a dam or two in my younger days
I think the guy said, "woah-ho Post" in a slow yell. Not thinking he said to get off the road. Could be wrong though. Anyway, take care Pot, really enjoy all your videos. Be safe always.
I love the excitement at the end when the dam was failing!!😂
The Beavers have you on a Most Wanted list!! Lol 😀 😎 👍
A friend of mine once applied for a private job reading for a blind man. After the first trial the blind man said, you have a good voice, but your reading is too monotonous. You have to read it to me as if you were commentating a football match. And that's what I like so much about these videos. Not only is the guy having genuine fun while doing the community a service, his delivery is like that of a major final.
Somewhere a mosquito is shouting, "MY BABIES!!!!" ☠🦟☠

What if at the end of job, you added a door at the inlet, let the pipe drain for 15 minutes, then remove the door; might the surge of water help rip the internal dam?

That was epic. The acceleration as the damn started to break up. And interesting that a block at the END of the pipe was the biggest problem this time. Don't see such a good example often. It all really started falling apart after. Nice one.

I would have thought you should have removed the blocked exit first. And I reckon it would have all come out without any hinderance. Good work though my friend.
The second half was a treat _especiale_ wearing earbuds listening to the sticks bang their way down the pipe. 😃

Another wonderful unclog! Thanks, Post 😀

Ready to rent... I actually laughed out loud and got a stare from the partner. Talking of beaver, I left Canada for 25 years and not sure if the nickel minting still has a beaver effigy. I was watching the patch of vegetation top right. You can see the water level changing there.
"The dam's coming! The dam's coming!" Me: Giggity~ 😝 Haha but in all seriousness, I stumbled onto this channel by watching a video of you unclogging a drain for some ungrateful drivers after a flood. You definitely look like you enjoy what you do. Wish a lot of (properly trained, mind you) folks had the same mindset as you do, bro. Keep smashing it!
I recently discovered your page and can honestly say I’m hooked! This is by far the best video I have seen so far, your excitement getting it unblocked was just so pure and made me smile so much. Thank you!
Good job. I love your excitement when there's results from your hard work.

Hey Posty, I really enjoy the content, thank you for producing it. Just for reference, Would you consider putting the date of the unclogging in the description and general location, I.e., northern Maine, southern New Hampshire, etc.? This dropped on 8/30/23 and I’m pretty sure that there wouldn’t be ice left in the pile at this point of the summer.
Nice to see you back at it 😁
