I agree.. that's our form of expression and no hard feelings. It's Malaysia it's been like that. Nevertheless I really respect chef wan cuz he is a really good chef with vast knowledge with all his travels throughout the world. Someone to be really recognized but I don't know why he seems to be under rated. Maybe Malaysian govt has not really recognized him I don't know but he has done a lot of wonderful things in other countries.

It's really so great to see chef Wan so health and not losing his sense of humor and his spark for life at all after all these years. The reason Michelin star restaurants tend to be expensive is not just because of expensive high quality ingredients, but also the amount of staff needed to hire in order to keep the level of service and cooking up to Michelin standards. All that staff costs a lot of money.

First time I see uncle Roger is speechless. Lost like a kid in the candy shop. Forgot how lemon grass looks like. No wonder, this man got more energy than all primary school combined.

wow after 1992 ... I first time i see Chef Wan..during those days I work in Jakarta I never miss his cooking show... Happy to see him here ..He looks very young and healthy .

Chef Wan is an absolutely wonderful person and human being. Bumped into him at the lobby of Hyatt Scotts Road in Singapore after me, my mom and grandma just checked in. Both my mom and grandma had said hi to him and were having their fan girl moments while chatting with him. He actually took the time, sat down and spoke with my grandma for like 10 minutes or so. I could tell that he really was enjoying the conversation as much as my grandma was, laughing and what not. He' s such a genuine and humble human being. Kudos to Uncle Roger for having a living legend on the show!

True.. happened to me before. We went to his restaurant at Linc and he just sat next to us. We went to say hi and said that we came to celebrate friend's birthday. He ended up gave us 2-3 different free dishes ! He is just as same as in the video. Very humor and friendly.

I love chef wan…. He is a beautiful person with such a bubbly personality. It is probably impossible not to smile around him. His restaurant is very beautiful too. Love the jungle theme….. also all the food looked amazing. Man I wish I could of been there to taste it lol. Maybe in my dreams 😅

When I was a kid I remember Yan Can Cook, was so amazed how he cut rolled a bell pepper, no seeds, perfect. I think of him every time I do that.

Would love to see another video of these two. Chef Wan is just so cool and fun.

Chef Wan is famous for being respectful and loving towards his mother. When he got shows, shooting outside of malaysia, he will also bring his mother with him. Even in this video, he bring his mother to his restaurant.
