I am eating rice for the last 26 years, 2-3 times a day....and in my household, my neighbouring households, and the restaurants where I witnessed rice preperation among all the restaurants I've been to, strain rice. Rice cooker is for lazy and unskilled people here....and for an exotic biriyani, you'd need some excellent basmati rice, which you'll need to cook 70-75 % before straining. The rest is cooked after mixing the spices through steaming.

Nithina Preechathaveekid sometimes i dont like it when some indians pretend to be a different national and have an identity crisis that makes me want to puke. Like one i met: kept on saying she is a kiwi (new zealand) and forgot already india, if she comes back to india she will get lost (in fact she only lived there for 5 yrs only) fucking poser.
