Paige , James , and Johnson and all the others senior were there from the beginning in 2015-16. It hurt so bad to not see them win but for them to comeback the very next year shows how great they really were

Back 2 back ncca basketball championships title appearances that's impressive

Love it ! Championship game was not the prettiest but a good outcome. I looked back at all the missed opportunities going back to 2010. All the ACC championships we gave up In a row. I mean FSU, Miami, Notre Dame. Not to mention the NCAA championship game we lost the year before due to buzzer beater. We win!

I remember watching these games and got so exited about it and when they won the championship it was the first time I ever witnessed them win a championship because I couldn’t watch in 2009 cuz I was too young

The nova game was the worst officiating game I’ve ever seen in any sport and I watch soccer lol. And no one talked about it after the fact. That was total bullshit. Shlda won back to back but I’ll hang my hat on 2017 until our next NCAA championship 🐏

2016 Carolina ran every team off the court. Then they forgot they had a big man Brice Johnson. I knew after Carolina beat Wisconsin in Maui, they were the best team. Kentucky beat us the first time. I said then that Monk will not dominate Pinson with 30 plus. I said he would get a tough 20 and Carolina will meet Kentucky again in the Big Dance. Carolina will get revenge. Those were the 2 best teams I honestly believe. Gonzaga was the 3rd. It was like redemption in 2008-09. The same fire happened again in 2016-17. The best teams won both times. 2005 was Carolina having the best team too. Also, 1993 and 1982. Now 1957 I'll leave that up to the older Tar Heel fans. I say them too though. And 1877 Carolina was the best team. But bad luck with injuries can kill any teams title hopes.

Good job UNC. I am your biggest fan.

Sometimes it seems that using the phrase “it was privilege” can be overused. It was more than a privilege to watch them from when they lost to Miami in the acc championship in 2013. To them beating Virginia in the acc championship in 2016. They kept fighting and improving every year.

Sad watching Tony Bradley and how that guy ruined his career by going pro too soon. I guess he got the one guaranteed contract as a first rounder but so many undeveloped kids go for the one time money grab instead of develop with another year in college and then are ready for the pros and have a much better chance at a big time second contract where the huge money can be.

I made the prediction that the Carolina vs Kentucky winner would win it all. I thought Kentucky was our biggest threat. Monk couldn't score 40 plus again. Theo made sure of that.Gonzaga was the 3rd best club and Oregon the 4th.

My goal is to play for UNC someday wish me luck.

Congrats to UNC for this, but Kentucky is overall the better school in NCAA history. UK has 8 titles (2 more than UNC), 4 runner ups, 17 final fours, 35 Elite 8s, 45 Sweet 16s, and most all time appearances with 59. Most all time wins too, sorry UNC fans but UK’s the better team all time. BBN
