Unboxing TP-LINK AC1900 and Speed Test

In this video I do an unboxing of the tp-link AC1900 wireless adapter. I also do a compare between 1 gig wired versus the tp-link AC1900. My router is a ASUS ROG GT-5300. The speed tests were down with iperf3 and LAN Speed Test. In my scenario, my wireless adapter is about 25 feet away from my wifi router.

iperf3 command I used on the client: C:\> iperf3.exe --client rcomp -i 1 -t 30 -w 32M -b 1000M -P 20 -R

@@Mikael-bs9ulvery stable and on steam I'm reaching downloads of 575mpbs and with other connections up to 1150mpbs this thing is great I just got it yesterday

@@Mikael-bs9ul i returned it and got a PCI one with 3 antennas i think. Stronger signal but i needed to go through 2 thick concrete walls almost 10 meter and the PCI was stronger. In general it's ok i think.

I think you can open them up and put a heatsink on it. I'm stuck with this one because i run an old osx machine. The faster pci cards don't have osx drivers :(
